Am I the only one who would still keep Rooney? I mean he's had a poor season but then again so has the whole team.

Useful squad member I suppose :p

Seriously though - Im not sure he is good enough as a striker or No 10, and there are better AM's / playmakers available (Kroos / Isco potentially to start with)

Also his wages are obscene for what he contributes - but there are far more liabilities in the team that need to go first before he does (Fellaini, Young, Rojo, Valencia, Mata - given that Mourinho if anyone is going to come in),

Okay Mata is one of the highest performing players in the league mate i saw the article. I think Mata Martial Rashford Blind Smalling Shaw De Gea are the people we build around. Fellaini will be sold for the elbows i reckon and Rojo has been leaking goals and making mistakes and i personally hate Young and Valencia.

David Sullivan has just revealed that West Ham will bid 25m for a player based in England this week.

I've got a big hunch it may be for either Walcott or Oxlade-Chamberlain.

According to Sky:

West Ham have made a £24m bid for a top forward in France and will bid £25m for another in England this week if they are unsuccessful, co-owner David Sullivan has confirmed.

Sky sources reported back in March that the Hammers had made Marseille's Michy Batshuayi, Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette and Liverpool striker Christian Benteke their three priority targets this summer.

So Benteke it is then.

Lol, Bayern are ridiculous in the transfer market. They get players that lots of other teams want but at half the cost. No idea how they do it but well played Bayern, well played. Along with Hummels they are already strengthening again.

They are literally the perfect example of how to keep a club at the top. Assemble an insane squad and improve it year after year even if you don't really need to.

Yea they do mop up, like RM and Barca. Footballing culture and guaranteed medals, players love it.

A couple of you have the wrong transfer figure for Sanches. Bayern didn't just pay 35m the fee is 35m + 45m in addon clauses making it pretty much the same as the 40m + 40m figures being thrown around for United.
