What makes you want to be a part of the forums?

aah, yes, project logs, if it wasn't for that section of the forum I wouldn't even be going to Taiwan :D

(and just replied :) - cheers dude)

Waiting for it to ping through!
I admire how much you have done on project logs and the type of backing you get - put it simply it is a dream job

The brilliant admin team.

Shame about the Dons, and don't even get me started on the UBs.

Yeah those guys :p

Before joining the forums, I used to just buy PC parts depending on their order in the product hierarchy assuming (often wrongly) it was the best. How much money I could have saved if I'd joined earlier...

£799 for a CPU back in 2007.... I feel like such a plonker! :p

better late than never ;)

The forum sort of hits all of my interests. It's very active so there's always new content to read and discuss. I don't think I've found a better forum since I started using it in (I think) 2004.

Well I've not been on here that long & don't post much at all & can't really see myself visiting very often either as it's ****.

No rush dude, thanks very much, I need to keep myself active on other people's logs tbh, i read pretty much all of them but don't seem to post much! My sponsors are great, all started with RJK helping me choose my parts from OcUK and then getting noticed luckily! It could happen to absolutely anyone =) I have just been very lucky and seem to have met the right people.

Habit, I generally like the atmosphere, the lack of stupid drama (most of the time), normally pleasant and helpful members, the advice on mustard, help on all sorts of topic.
The fact that no one cares that on a weekend I call my say Lady Sparkly Hocks and only communicate by tapping my hooves.

I find the forum a genuinely good community.

The diversity of the sub forums keeps me here, it's not just a tech forum but a general life forum IMO
I been a member of various forums over the years, but this is one of the few I always come back to.

My other half detests the blue screen so I generally log on just to wind her up...

The community isn't bad either ;)

edit: just checked, 11 years a member... :o

I think I registered to get help making my rubbish pc faster, knowing little to nothing about custom PCs. Now pretty much all of my disposable income goes towards pc hardware and I am still here.

It's a good place to get news. I know I'm not the only one who logs on here before BBC when something big happens.

Wow just realised I've been here for 17 years (1999, pre-nuke). I joined here for the enthusiast PC side of things when I was starting to overclock and build my own PC's. But I usually find at least one forum to hold my interest and now often while away the time in GD.
