I wish I was a pilot

As for what I wanted to be... I've always really wanted to go into investment banking or stock broking, ever since school really. 4 years of uni later and I want to run as far away from finance as I can. Don't think I can waste my life doing that. I want an adventure instead. Might try the Royal Marines or something.

I had no clue what I wanted to do, so kind of fell into engineering where I'm doing quite well.

In fact, I really had no clue at all. My GF (now wife) found an ad in the local rag for an engineering apprenticeship vacancy. I applied, got the job and that was that.

but a computer programmer can't pick up hot chicks lol

Erm, they definitely can. I think the stereotype of everyone in IT being bad looking and nerdy are gone.

There's people on minimum wage with 10/10 partners.

If you progress in programming you can also earn a very, very good salary for those hot chicks who are all about your materials.

Always wanted to be a 'galaxy-hopping garbage-man', myself. Own spaceship, cool 4x4 with a gun turret and a gynoid companion to die for... failing that, a helicopter pilot could be fun.

Wanted to be a pilot in the RAF. Eyes screwed up around the age of 13 so that was that out the window. Ended up being an engineer. Wish I was young enough to do enroll in one of the sponsored commercial pilot things.

My route to flying will be gliding if anything now. I have a weeks lessons in August this year to see if I enjoy it or not :D

A think when very small I once said, a bank robber, church minister or teacher.

In my teens I would have settled for a pro athlete up with the likes of Seb Coe, Steve Ovett, Cram and Mackean. Never quite made it.

And a six four Impala....

Wanted to be an aircraft engineer, so went and did it. Every fool lies about being a pilot, any woman with half a brain can usually work that one out.

Remember, without engineers, pilots are just pedestrians.

I wanted to be a marine biologist.

When the age of 16 hit I just wanted to be in manchester, and smoking the erb so that went out the window.

Done a fair bit of scuba diving but now work in GIS.
