I think we've had more story development in the last 4 weeks than in the whole of season 5. At least that's how it feels. Last season felt like treading water, especially some of Danni's stuff in Mereen. Now they are free from any chance of the books being released ahead of them it seems like full steam ahead and the way to the conclusion starts to take shape.

Cracking episode, really enjoyed it.

Amusingly, I said to Mrs. Feek "We've not seen Littlefinger yet" just as the scene changed and there he was!

Thank god john has got some motivation. It was looking like we were going to get a season of moping and depressed snow. Ramsey is such a brilliant character. Whenever he's on screen I worry.

One thing GoT does right is to create villains that you physically want them to die the worst ways possible. Most movies I couldn't care less about the villain but in GoT they build them up and up until you hate their guts. Credit to the show I guess.

I didn't really get the hate here for Olly. Not only was he still a child, he'd watched the very wildlings Jon let in butcher and rape his whole family and then the other men of the watch had led him towards that conclusion.

Just a kid with an horrific life. He had to be hanged, but I didn't get the hatred. He was no Joffrey.

I think I would feel the same to be honest if Wildlings killed and ate my parents, then I was supposed to shake hands with them and call them ally. Just an unfortunate series of events for the young Olly.

+1

Ramsay is the new Joffrey.

Such a dry episode, and the whole daenerys story line is just one big meme now.

I genuinely hope the time travel stuff going around at the moment is the case, because it needs something a little different in this show now to get it moving.

Quite possibly the only person to think this... this episode along with all of season 5 so far have been great.

Time travel... really?

Trollylolololafalaleee ;)

Cracking episode, many disparate threads are being brought together into a more concise set of story lines so things can develop with a lot punch :D

Good episode.

Vale lot and the Wildlings. I wonder what will go wrong.

As for the Kings Landing plan with for the High Sparrow. Is it just me or is it obvious that they plan to kill off the high sparrow, not care about the queen and her brother, and get the blame put on the Tyrells?

Same here, i said "Oh yeah, the Arryn kid, we haven't seen him and Littlefinger for a while" then Little-finger step out of the coach.

Best episode of the season so far. Lots of good things;
- John/Sansa reunion
- how well and easily littlefinger manipulates the lord of the vale
- Tormund and brienne
- boobs

So many showdowns brewing.

had suspicions it was CGI mainly because pre-nekkid she has very chubby arms (this season and season 5 uber chubby....lay off the pies Dany!) and yet when nekkid she is slim...hrmmm. She does need to lose a few pounds imo.

Season 6 ep4 first time we get 2 Starks together since season 3 butchery (or was that wedding s4?)
