Just one more drama thread then surely Half-Life 3 will be confirmed folks!

Archeum - I've got one question for you. If you found issues with the car then why did you not think to contact me about it? I never got a single message from you and I'm only just finding this out now and literally everyone know's I specialise in Type R's. It's trade. I buy a car and sell it on, the car you bought off me. I did nothing to it besides put my margin on it and sell it on, Thats what I do for a living.

Yes, I'll admit out of hundreds of deals, few are bound to go wrong, I've only ever had ONE complaint on a car I sold with regards to service history but that was sorted out as the buyer got back to me about it so why didn't you think to contact me when you found issues with the car?

With regards to my stolen car, Got a phone call from police yesterday around 9pm to say my car's been found in whitefield, around 10 miles away. I still dont know what condition it's been recovered in as the recovery yard is closed over weekend so I'll find out tomorrow :)

Also, This wont be another Acme thread, There's two sides to every story and the screenshot posted above, Second hand parts from a car I was breaking, Already speaking to him about it :)

Ps. Who's TinyTomLogan and yes Insurance is involved so is the police.

I did try and call you a few times, no answer so then I did a bit of research. End of the day you weren't likely to give me money back for the repairs I had to do to get it properly roadworthy and saleable again now were you? So I cut my losses. Especially 4-6 weeks after the sale.

It was MOTd a few days before I bought it off you so either you're good mates with your tester or your tester wasn't wearing his glasses that day.

A few deals can go wrong sure, but not ones that lead to being banned from every major Civic club on FB and every Civic forum?

Anyway, there isn't much else to say, that's in the past, nothing can come of it, I'm just opening eyes

Archeum, Was it the red FN2 that you got from me around 1-2 years ago? You assumed I wouldn't have done anything for you but you would have been surprised. You'll have to remind me which one as I've sold tons of them and I've not had a single person come back to me. Yes I've had deals go wrong over parts but end of the day, no one really ever posts their positive dealing do they? It's always the bad ones you hear about. I ALWAYS try and resolve any issues I have and plus I'm not banned from any FB groups? If I've had 2 deals go wrong, 48 will have been perfect. Everyone makes mistakes as I'm not here saying I've done nothing wrong. Thats business, thats work, thats life. :)

If you couldn't get through to me on the phone, why didnt you drop me a text message or email me through the forums. I would have been happy to help out with any issues but in all these months/years, I've literally not heard from you. End of the day I bought the car to trade on, I would have gone back to the person I bought it from.

If you would like to discuss this, email me :)

But then you wouldn't be able to make anything worthwhile. The scrap value of an 11 year old car can't be much, but as a car it's worth a lot more than your usual Type R.

I think the car will be found.

You're kidding? I stripped a 20 year old Sierra for parts and made £1500. A Type R would bring in way more than that.

I must have missed something.

/grabs popcorn

Appears I have too! lol

If anyone buys a car with a dodgy MOT and the person you bought it from won't sort it, take it to the place where its was put through and tell them to fix it and just mention VOSA. Or alternatively just phone VOSA, get them to look at the car then watch the dodgy MOT place vanish :D

Thanks :) Off to recovery place in a bit. Will post some pics once I've got it back with me.

That is also true :)

Yep, 2ish years ago, you didn't answer a few calls so I didn't bother sending texts/emails which can be ignored just as easily.. I was genuinely more interested in what the full amount of damage was and the repairs performed rather than recuperating money.

Ultimately I'm not bothered about the FN2 or the ~grand I lost on it from getting the welding sorted out properly and re-sale value as that was about 4 cars ago, but if you genuinely didn't know it had been (badly) repaired then you want to find a new MOT tester.

I know you're banned from CTRO FB page for sure as your name popped up about a month ago again and Stuart said you'd already been removed, you had been banned from Club Civic at some point too -there's a few other pages as well as Civinfo, CTRO forums. Surely you don't get that far from a few bad deals..?

I'm aware of that now, have a friend who's successfully claimed back the entirety of what he paid plus more for a car from the MOT place that passed it + the seller himself with the help of trading standards.

I'm sorry but I disagree with that, You "assumed" I would have ignored you when thats clearly not the case and then you're making all these other assumptions about me being banned from all these other pages when I'm still clearly on them, do you want me to post proof up or is this like a grudge you're holding against me and trying to make me sound worse than everything really is?

With regards to the car? I've mentioned it pretty clearly that I bought it to sell it on, I always HPI my cars when I buy them and I will only invest in one if it's fully HPI clear, I never invest in a car thats been damaged or is categorised Cat C or D and if I remember correctly, The car you bought off me was bought from a Civinfo member which I had valeted and then advertised. There was no foul play in it from my ends.

2 years later and I'm finding this out now. I have sent you a trust message as I actually do want to know what was wrong with the car. :)

Am I getting confused here?

I've no grudge, just raising awareness.

It wasn't on HPI or insurance. If it was an insurance job it wouldn't have been so badly repaired lol.

IIRC It was MOT'd days before you sold it me though?

You're probably still on Club Civic because it's a barryfest and the admins aren't quite awake

EDIT: I've not received a trust - welding had come apart from the chassis and fuel tank - edges were still crumpled and hadn't even been attempted to be straightened before welding on again. The rear boot lid wasn't the original. There was more towards the rear / past the fuel tank, can't remember what exactly but I'm at work and don't have access to my home PC with the info on.

To be fair the mismatched front and rear plates should've been a warning sign.
