**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

New Good Lock update out, many new features in proper customisation of the pulldown colours and notifications.

Dark grey = Winning.

A question for those who've owned a S7 Edge for some time. I know the phone has Gorilla Glass 4 back and front, but does anyone bother with a screen protector, if not has has the screen stood up to everyday use.

I'm thinking the same.....

May I ask why? What is wrong with us?

After the therapist go and post in the iPhone thread, not sure why you are posting here.

I am posting here because at the moment I have an S7 Edge.

As far as I am aware it is only the front with GG4, maybe I am wrong? Either way the back scratches way easier than the front.

I use a case so can't comment on the back, but no issues with the front. Obviously I don't keep it in a pocket with keys, or with anything else really.

I was a little concerned to find a minute scratch after a few days, this concerned me as I look after it well and couldn't imagine how it could have scratched so easily, but nothing since and I'm pretty sure it just must have been there since I got it.

Haha! nothing, generally I like it but I really just wished they had an official working adoptable storage option, I'm already down to 8gb free on the internal space.

But I guess the main reason is my son has just entered the world of messaging on his ipad with imessage and obviously the only way of me returning messages is via my ipad which isn't very easy to have on me all the time, I wish they would bring out a tablet version of WhatsApp then that reason would be gone.

I'll probably stick with it in all honesty.

Had mine for just over 2 months and don't have any screen protector. I do have 1 tiny scratch, not sure how as I don't put anything else in the pocket. You can only see it if you look very closely so doesn't bother me.

Yes but posting you want to change to a different phone adds 0 to the thread, so its pointless, nobody cares.

Ok I apologise for that and I was only thinking of changing.

In all fairness it is the best phone I have had up to now I just have a problem where I need something new every couple of months.

Has samsung ever mentioned getting proper adaptable storage working? Or they sticking to their guns on that one?

Personally I kinda wish I went with the edge now, havingproperly played with a 5'5" phone I don't find them hard to handle! :) And bigger is always better right..

Anyone had any issues with photo storage on an sd card. I have a new 64gb SanDisk ultra card and until recently it's been fine. I have approximately 500 photos on it. Lately when browsing through older photos thumbnails either take ages to appear or don't appear at all. Any ideas?

Someone please recommend me a Car Mount for the S7 Please, must have enough room to take the case as well, just don't want a generic one that squeezes the power/volume buttons.

I started off with an S7 Edge, great looking phone no one can deny that. After time I just preferred the size of the normal S7.

I've just come onto this thread as mine has started to do this too. Was absolutely faultless before. And I'm starting to think my finger print scanner isn't as good now either?

Seems an update has screwed something up.
