Hi, i'm interested in preordering the EVGA ftw but I live really close and would like to pick it up in person. Am I best preordering in store, and are you open on Monday?
You can pre-order online mate and under the delivery section you can select "collect from store". OCuK will then e-mail you when you can go collect it but you have to take the debit or credit card you used to buy it

ah thanks! when you select pay with card instead of paypal, the collect option appears
Bank Holiday Monday, so Tuesday pick up.

I was just wondering whether I could preorder in store, I already knew the ETA for the card was the next Friday so i'll be waiting for the card anyway but it's all sorted now thanks

If you're buying a card with the intention of over clocking I would probably stay clear of the EVGA FTW edition in the mean time. The 980 FTW's were voltage locked so it is questionable whether the 1080 version is.
Debating on the ACX or the Strix. Never had problems with the Strix but it's quite expensive compared with the EVGA ACX. I'll probably lean towards asus
Why would you choose Asus over EVGA?

Loving the MSI Armour, really happy with my 980ti armour so far so can thoroughly recommend it
I agree. It looks a bit like putting rims on a Cortina to me.

I game at 2560 by 1440 so the 1080 is a perfect replacement for my 970. Anyone looking for a bargain should keep an eye on the MM as I will be putting up my 970 for sale soon ^.^
