It's too hot :(

I grew up and still live in the country/coast (ish these days as it's cheaper).

Used to love the sun but I had some funky acne tablets which apparently broke my thermostat. Now I find anything above about 20c hard to cope with

Thank god it is finally night time! I had to turn off all my screens aside from one. Its far to hot to game as of late someone bring back winter!

Gordon Bennet -- I have decided that digging a trench and filling it with MOT isn't a job for today.

Showing 80f here.

I was waiting for my bus, 23C outside, sweat on my forehead as I've just walked half a mile.

Bus arrives, and this lady of 70ish gets on it wearing 3 layers with her arms clenched around her and visibly shivering.

Yet my granny of 87 sleeps with the window open in a 4.5-tog all year round.

Why is it so subjective?

17c at the mo. Just had a nice grade 1 haircut because it's too hot for hair. I think I am going to melt. Even at 3am yesterday when I went out for a ciggie it was warmish..

Met office suck. Said it would rain yesterday and it topped 30 and unbroken sun all day. Said it would rain today and be 18c and it's 26 and yes unbroken sunshine all day. They can't predict nothing.

Mild, humid and overcast with a threat of rain. The UK summer is back on track. :(

edit:

Yay.....

I'm contemplating putting the heating back on it's so cold here. Already had to dig out the winter coat this morning.

Same here. Last week at work outside, t-shirt and baseball cap. Today, woolen cap and three top layers. Working near the coast and it was freezing cold.

Heat index is 41c right now. My AC hasn't been off in days, it's struggling to keep the house cool. Just got off the phone with my parents n they said it was 12c there. Standard British summer!
