Define "exclusive" though. Only ocuk has stock, the other sites selling it pre orders with 2-3 weeks delivery.

That could mean that technically ocuk has exclusivity for 2 to 3 weeks.

Pretty easy - restricted to the person, group, or area concerned.

no-one from OCUK has mentioned there's a time restriction on their exclusivity. So either its simply that they are the first in stock on this card, they have a two week exclusivity deal on the card... or its not an exclusive at all. In the past exclusivity on cards has tended to mean you only get them at OCUK (rebranded reference or directly working with a brand on an original card.)

Do all these threads these days desend into a ****ging of price.

I tried the card it looks great and the water block keeps it very cool in operation. Build quality is also second to none. The premium is for custom pcb, custom block, custom back plate. All these things incurred cost in production.

SLI works fine the connector fits 100%.

Its hardly the customers fault if the customer knows the premium being added for it being prefitted and mentions it is it?

30 mins to fit a water block. 100 quid premium over the individual parts equals 200 quid for an hours work. not a bad job but you can hardly expect it to go uncommented can you? especially when other preorders are selling it cheaper.

Also the recent conversation has been how this doesn't seem to be an exclusive, its up for pre-order elsewhere.

That is a bit odd though but maybe they are spaced enough to fit the SLI bridge in without the need for a cut out.

But there's no guarantee they will overclock any better than the FE. I'd be interested to see what they can do though.

My FE with blocks and backplate was £80 cheaper than this is. Both are happy at 2100mhz. I'm happy with that

there are brands that cover for removal of fans. There are also other brands that offer WC for the 1080 that also offer warranty.

Its not the money. I'm about to spend double this at OCUK in the next few weeks and I've spent more in the past. stop acting like because they've stuck premium on it they can bend you over a barrel. You are falling victim to the notion of upselling.
