Anyone getting annoyed with British summers? What the hell is going on?

I love the thunderstorms and the warm rain but i dont like having to leave my flashy Maui Jims in their case.

The weather has made for good fishing and fun but messy camping, so no complaints from me

Summer might get going in July and should hit properly in August. September is still generally pretty nice. Why do people feel the need to write the summer off before it's even had a chance?

No, it's been nice here. The last week of May/First week of June was glorious and it's been pretty good this week as well.

It's what makes us British I guess You're right though - I'm hearing people writing off Summer left right and center

Chester was lovely today too. I was in the garden from 8 to midday today with just shorts on, shoulders are feeling a tad burnt!

was in Cyprus for all of summer till last week, come back and its been daily thunderstorms, hayfever is through the roof when it hasnt bothered me for months, flooding and just generally rubbish.
