"We we're saying what you wanted to hear but you weren't listening" Must admit despite voting remain I didnt hear them say any of this.
 
its not a binding referendum, its just a "see what the public want" exercise which they will take into account.

De jure, you're correct. But Cameron has been very clear that the government consider it binding and that he will activate article 50 on a single vote lead for Leave so I think de facto you're incorrect.
 
The result so far includes Gibraltar too, no one else is expected to have a 99.x% remain so fingers crossed the leave will start pulling ahead soon.
 
While I cba to do the sums I doubt its considered statistically significant enough to declare one over the other...

:confused: we're not talking about samples here but the actual population... it is quite simple really - there is a binary choice and one side wins.
