Well well well didn't think leave would actually win (even as a leave voter myself!)! Threats from Cameron, Obama and co probably did more harm than good. If there had been more 'this is what the EU gives us and we benefit from' and less 'ooooh the bogey mans coming to get you if you vote leave' then the outcome might have been different!

Uncertain times ahead but at the end of the day the world keeps spinning we'll still be here tomorrow :)

As for Scotland, OK Sturgeon and Salmond we've called your bluff have your second referendum if you genuinely believe the result will be any different or stop banging on and on and on about it!

What's she here for then? I don't get statements like that...whats her issue?

She's worried that the economy will be in serious trouble and that there will be lots of negative feeling towards Poles now. Also worried she will have to go through a visa application or something like that.

Going to make this very clear, this isnt the electorates fault.

The Government has failed for decades to solve growing tensions and just brushed it under the rug is unimportant drivel, in fact tensions were purposely abused to win votes for the tories...

This is a failure to listen and its permanent.

I agree - issues like this are never going to be ignored ever again.

Indeed
Immigration really is about to take a back seat to the economy

Watch out pensions.
Watch out mortgage rates.

I think people who voted out will regret their decision in a month or so as the financial impact hits home and not 'those greedy bankers'

Problem is we can't change our mind.

Either way we are where we are, no time to gloat as we have such a massively divided vote and a lot of finding ourselves to do.

I hope that irrespective of this result this country can pick up the pieces and unify this very divided country and end up being in a better place for it.

I'm nervous about it I won't lie, but only because I don't know what this means to our future.

Agreed

And this is what happens when Cameron screws people over for all these years
This is what happens with mass immigration

I'm SO happy, and so is my mum,dad and girlfriend :D:D

Look at remain " This is division, over 52% vote didn't want this " waaa waaaa

If it was about mass immigration then you could have started a protest, not made it affect the EU vote. Theres still going to be immigrants. But I guess a protest would have shown the bigotry and mild racism that a lot of the leave voters were only happy to show behind a piece of paper for an EU referendum

FTSE is largely global companies. Plus sterling at the same going down means its really a buy longer term, two negatives multiplied...

Also thin market out of hours can be misleading or inaccurate, thats possible

Dont really agree on this, democracy isnt selective. Could also chart it by tax paid, I know a couple people who voted moved abroad never came back except to visit, cos your young thats possible.
Also we can always rejoin so 70 year life expectancy isnt that relevant, people get a bit OTT in views when leaving terms are all subject to negotiation over more then a year I expect

If we ever try to rejoin the terms will be massively worse than they are today and will include the euro which is compulsory for all new members!

In positive news surely this is the end of UKIP they have 'independence' so surely the vote will skulk off back to the Torries and they will die.

Unfortunately the British people voted for a conservative government to makes lots of cuts, so.....

And anyway the UK population growth has been the same for 10 years. When did this mass migration happen?

The mass immigration was triggered when in 2004 Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia joined the EU. The, under the free movement of labour principle, since 2004 over 4 million individuals came to the UK.

No only 52% of the 70% that vote surely?

Facts and figures don't lie. But when you said "I don't give a **** about immigration that's the least of my concern"

That's what started all this. But at least you can go back to France and hope for the best.
