People worried we're going to be kicking people out, never fear we can't even kick out the illegal immigrants we've got now they're not going to have the resources to kick EU residents out!

Imagine there will end up being some sort of deadline as long as you were here before that you'll get a work permit.

So leave won.
I wonder how many leave voters will spit hate towards the goverment in a few months when the only thing they will see from the brexit is nothing changed but the prices gone up and starts to hit their every day life.
I think it will take the economy years to recover.

I think this will be the end of the EU. Other countries will demand a vote now.

Yep. I heard Switzerland cancelled their application, France and Holland may want referendums.

The thing for me - although they call leavers racists or some crap is when the far right group nearly got in power BECAUSE of the EU! Wtf! I was unsure until then.... I never want part of the next Nazi group!

I love culture changes, and I love to visit cultures. I love the world is different. I just don't want British culture to change into the same as France, or Poland, or Turkey as there's no point then?

Actually worrying when so many people around me had their reasons for voting leave as something to do with taking back control of "our country" from immigrants.

how the **** can people seriously think like this especially when many of them cant trace their lineage past one generation.

It's amazing how this could have all been avoided if the EU was just a bit more flexible on key issues or if the remain side was willing to acknowledge issues rather than try and use the death of jo cox as a springboard to take us back to 1990's style oppression of views by calling everyone racist who wants to control migration. Maybe if they made a more positive case instead of relying on hate themselves and scaring a vote out of people then they could have done more but it wasn't good enough to be negative the whole time and then just slip out a quick slogan or two now and again. Hell it would have given me some respect if the EU even just voted on our renegotiation BEFORE we have to vote whether we stay with them or not.

So many things could have been handled better that would have eased tensions and led to a remain win in my opinion, I do worry a little too but ultimately we'll see what lies ahead. There was bound to be some market shakeup early on but it will ease.

Are we ever going to believe the pollsters again? They failed to get it right yet again. Some people need to lose their jobs TBH.

If people lie to pollters what can they do about it? Tory voters are notorious for this and I reckon the same thing may have happened here. Also the polls were close anyway so the fact leave narrowly edged it could be argued as falling into the margin of error.

Well, it's not what I was hoping to wake up to, but it's what we've got.

So, Article 50 and then what? Who actually decides what route we now take? Does the government come up with and negotiate a plan and then present it to parliament to vote through?

I think certainly if we can pull together and make this a positive movement. If we go on to do well from this in time once new trade deals are agreed then others will cite us as an example of it being possible for them too.

I really didn't think I would feel this gutted if we left.

If you'd have asked me months ago if I would feel like this if we left id have laughed because I thought I wasn't that bothered, and that's me as thinking I wanted to leave back then too, now I realise how much I did care and I am glad I voted remain.

This is absolutely true for me too. Very disappointed.
