Things to look forward to over the next 5 years:

- Another recession.
- More public sector cuts.
- Inflation increases.
- A weak pound.
- Stock market plummeting.
- Scotland vote to leave the UK.

But it's not all doom and gloom! At least there won't be those immigrants stealing all our best jobs like picking fruit and packing food!

There will be jobs at the passport office with us all needing new ones as the current one says EU on the front!

Well done bigots.

You'll still get your immigrants as they come for the broken benefit system, what you won't get is skilled workers coming here, investment and opportunities for our kids. But I'm sure our dole dwellers and scum bags will step up to save us......

As soon as my European company can get me a transfer in out of this country, prefer to watch from afar when it all falls apart.

Sad day.

Haha, leave then. Literally nobody gives a crap if you leave. Nothing would change.

Hope this helps.

Well done bigots.

I found this; I think you threw it.

Started on the fence, voted Leave.

What clinched it for me was the negative campaign from the Remain side, forecasts of famine, plague and pestilence. What clinched it was Junckner's belittling comment a few days ago saying Britain would have no more economic power than Guernsey if we left. An insult to Guernsey and an insult to the UK, the elite of Europe showing their true feelings about the UK.

Well the country has stuck it to The Man now with, according to the tickertape on the BBC news the biggest percentage of Leave coming from the working class areas of the UK, including many parts of Wales.

Uncertain times ahead but by god it will be interesting, not least what happens next and of course with Scotland.

And I couldn't help but smile at the deflated left wing presenters and commentators on the BBC this morning, wind completely taken out their sails.

Business won't leave due to short term changes. They are going to now sit tight as in reality nothing will change at least for 2 years. Then make an educated choice. By that point everything will be settled at least in the UK.

They may not leave for the time being but certainly they will be making arrangements to do so if the result is actually pushed through by the government. At the moment the UK is a great place for international businesses to be located due to the trade agreements with the EU, once that is taken away they will be unable to effectively access the massive EU market. For sure they are not going to wait until the UK negotiates another treaty, which could take years.

why?? why does it have to be one thing or the other? It's one of the things which annoyed me about the remain campaign. Can't you be an outward looking country, which values immigration/immigrants & what they bring to a country without having an open door policy on immigration? It doesn't make you a bigot.

As soon as my European company can get me a transfer in out of this country, prefer to watch from afar when it all falls apart.

Suggest you ask for a transfer to a non-eu company - sounds like countries like Holland, Denmark, Sweden & even France and Germany aren't too far behind asking for their own referendum ;)

How long will it take for the dust to settle?
How will it affect saving?
How will it affect mortgages?
What about salaries and pay?
Will the BOE interest rate start to rise?
Will inflation fall or rise?
Will stuff cost more?
Will they drop VAT back down?

I know these are all unknowns but with the uncertainty it is a little concerning, there are so many things to consider and think about ! Sure it will take years for this to embed itself, but still thinking about it!

Also being on a fixed rate mortgage for the next 5 years is going to be a God send hopefully my pay won't be affected!

How long are people prepared to put up with a diminished purchasing power and poorer job prospects before they deem the change to have not been worth it? I've seen people here happy to drag this out for five years on the hope it will improve.

kinda like going to uni then.

poor for a few years but better off afterwards.

So that was close... I hope it's not as bad as all the campaigning makes out. I hope Cameron resigns at least.

And i look forward to all these new hospitalsite being built
