After leave had a lead of about one million I managed a couple of hours sleep. Woke up with the birds singing and the air tasting sweet. I guess the country hasn't burned to the ground yet. A historical day, I think we'll look back on this vote in a positive light. The UK can make this work, those who don't think so are the defeatist types who probably shouldn't be running the country anyway.

I have an idea chaps.

Do you think we could get other European nations to create a European union of sorts , where we have common goals like free trade?

I think it could work  :D

Well done bigots.

You'll still get your immigrants as they come for the broken benefit system, what you won't get is skilled workers coming here, investment and opportunities for our kids. But I'm sure our dole dwellers and scum bags will step up to save us......

As soon as my European company can get me a transfer in out of this country, prefer to watch from afar when it all falls apart.

Sad day.

Skilled workers will still come, it's the unskilled ones that will dry up, the ones taking up warehouse, factory, driving jobs etc on minimum wage that's keeping wages low as possible as they will work for pittance. Don't let the door hit yo azz on the way out lol

My reaction when I woke up this morning:

Once my SO finishes University and is qualified, I am getting the hell outta here.

The Britain of yesteryear is no more and I want no part of it.

Surly if we leave the EU we won’t be working with the EU as closely to stop illegal immigrants. So by leaving we end up with worse illegal immigrants.

Agreed. It is a real shame that many voted based on immigration issues alone. I look forward to hearing the excuses and reasons why the country is going down the toilet from the Brexit side in a couple of years.
Just the thought of Boris or Farage climbing the political ladder must surely be ringing alarm bells with most people?
A big sarcastic thank you from me.

So let's be positive, the NHS gets loads more money ;-)
Andi.

Farage has just said this morning that it won't be getting the money and that he was "misquoted". Yep, it took all of about an hour after the last area was counted for him to back track over a key promise and one which he sold to voters as being a big reason to come out.
