Radeon RX 480 "Polaris" Launched at $199

Found this on reddit someone got RX 480 card.

Fan 2197 RPM seem very high, probably noisy when power draw went up to 112.8W.

But you also have very low temps. 78C is nothing in a stress test. Change the fan profile a little. Let it go up to 89C and its probably quiet.

Oh so GPU-Z have updated without having the gpu ??? it will be 48 or 64. No gpu-z updates around release. happend with 970 if I really have to recall at this stage in the thread... -_-

He's using latest GPU-Z that has Polaris support.

And the designer of GPU-Z reviews GPUs, he will have a 480.

It's not confirmed as the 470 on techpower says it has 48. One of them is wrong.

If the database is wrong then so will the Gpu-z read out be wrong. So until release we still don't know. These details are still under NDA as far as i know.

The clocks are stated as 1120. I wonder if that includes the 1266 boost. If it is just 1120 then at 1266 it would be up there with the 390x.

wait till release everything now is just hearsay ? do you think amd sent gpus out to everyone ? I didn't get one No the people trust worthy are under nda and wont brake it if they do they will never get other cards (ggpc anyone) and they had crap drivers, ohhh they will look stupid
