Not sure how you can say that when there were shipments of Gaming X on the Monday and the Tuesday, and I think I saw others were possibly also getting orders shipped later in the week too. Compared with the FTW with no cards shipped yet and still at least a week away by all accounts.

as far as I know there were 100 units last Fri and 30 on Monday. That's all. It's irrelevant when they were sent out or delivered.
 
Any body want to give an opinions on the noise level of a custom GTX 1080 compared to EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC ACX. I'm kind of regret stepping up from a GTX 980 SC, which was super quiet under load. Where as the 980 Ti is rather annoying when gaming.

Currently the Palit Jetstream/GameRock and Gainward Golden Sample cards spin the lowest while under full gaming load. Excellent cards but they are more than two slots high. The MSI Gaming X is also very quiet and I prefer their warranty to Gainward/Palit tbh.

Ben has said that mid/next week they'll be LANDING at uk retailers so I'm really hoping I'll have my hands on one within a week! :)

I'm 3rd in line so I'll get first batch regardless, though like you I'm sick of the waiting now, just want my new card I know it'll be worth the very long wait. Last time I go for EVGA though UNLESS they have stock there and then of their cards

I agree that they all seem the same but disagree that cooling affects it. The cards run fairly cool and whether you have an founders edition or a water cooled beast 2.1ghz is easily achievable but until we see custom bios I also believe it's the ceiling. I've gone slightly higher than that on my twin fan cooler but temps are well whatever I set the slider at (75c)
