excellent, more validation of racism in the UK.

We're in the unfortunate aftermath of the vote. As has been said, the minority of racists now feel their views are shared by the majority, unfortunately I feel we're only going to see more of this attitude in the near future :(.

One must wonder, if you have such a hard time in the UK, why do you want to be here?

Have you experienced racism first hand, directed at you? Is so you should be ashamed.

The crippling inability to do absolutely **** all about the colour of your skin or your country of origin? To have to accept that you will get abuse at any time from some racist ****tard over something you can do absolutely nothing about? More so now that this minority have been given a platform they feel it is acceptable to continue in greater numbers.

That some ***** thinks its acceptable to abuse (violently or otherwise) another person based on nothing other than small minded prejudice is acceptable to you? In fact the only reason they aren't abusing themselves is because they were 'lucky' enough to be born into a different race or are a different colour? Why is it their god-given right to have something just because they popped out of their mother's vagina at a particular place on the globe of a particular race or colour?

Your solution to this problem is to tell people who experience this discrimination is to suggest they should leave? Ask them why they bother putting up with the hatred? As if they're the problem?

Jesus Christ.

That's exactly my point. Make it. Make what has become a nightmare into the dream of a UK that we voted for. Stop rolling over like a submissive dog, and just shut the ******* borders, their ours for god sake. Go start talk tormorrow with the rest of the world, and see what is available. Start article 50 and get whats we can from the EU and then just deal with it.

Man the **** up and get on the job.

It is not feasible to "just shut the borders"

Yes as were many 50 - 70 years ago.

However not in the last 20 years. What you are seeing is blowback from this failure of government policy to tackle the issue unfortunately.

From 2014 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-30417950
The NHS would be "in dire straits" without migrant workers, one of the UK's senior economists has claimed.

Stephen Nickell, who is on the board of the Office for Budget Responsibility, suggested 35% of "health professionals" came from outside the UK.

Wildman - sorry to hear about what happened. Quite shocking really, although part of me isn't surprised this happened in Stevenage.

Look on the bright side of things.
You never got your head chopped off in the middle of a street. Now that's racism

Old and disabled people get picked one by people. But do you here them moaning? NO. Sticks and stones.

Deuse - are you justifying racism on the basis that worse instances have occurred? How is that a rational statement to make in the slightest?

Why is racism being so easily applied to over population. Oh how I wish I was french with their country twice the size of ours and the same amount of people. Would love to see either reaction to open borders if they had 125million people there.

Have the racists ever stopped to think that maybe some people of skin colour other than white may have voted leave too?

That would be embarrassing for them to discover.

Me thinks people actively being racists are generally not the thinking type so doubt the thought crossed thier mind.

as I said before freefaller delete my post, (farcical that someone can tell me to go home, and I call them a bad name and get a post deleted).

I was born in the UK and lived here all my life. So going home means cathcing the SB4 bus from town back to where I live in stevenage..........

It's amusing (inspired by listening to Radio 2) to hear that Cameron obviously said before the referendum that the result will be delivered whatever it is, then the leave result comes in and he nopes right out of there and resigns.

Talk about bottling it. He really should've kicked off article 50, then dropped the mic and walked off.

He was against it so he would have looked a bigger Wally.

Personal attacks aren't allowed - I sympathise with your feelings but please calm down or RTM the post or contact us if you need something dealt with.

Why do the French have even more of a social problem with race tension then, if it's about space - and they have so much more of it?

:(

I hope not, if we're going to divorce ourselves from the family, I'd rather not have to rely on them (the EU). It's all or nothing isn't it? Otherwise what was the point in leaving?

It's just slapfights at the moment :/
