There was a bit of a hoo-ha about the "She's speaking Welsh" story as to if it was fabricated or not.

It did make me think that, even with Tom having an interview with the paper explaining his facebook post, there is nothing stopping people making things up, and saying they happened in person, as people don't need additional witnesses for these sorts of things.

Not saying he made it up btw, just that we'll never really know.

People have the right to protest against a democratic outcome but they cannot be allowed to hinder its application indefinitely.

It's obviously picking the worst out, but apartheid was ultimately a democratic decision - would you not agree that protest and repealing it was a good move?

Given hoe salty remainers are all apparently experts in financial markets all of a sudden and can predict with great deals of confidence things will be terrible so long as we stay out of the EU, I'm surprised they're not all Billionaires given their Warren Buffeteque abilities to read the future.

Have you looked at the UK financial markets recently?

Poor baiting is poor.

You linked me to a 'plan' written by a blogger, I came back and asked you what role he had within government but I don't recall seeing a response.

Isn't that roughly equivalent to well developed fan art?

Confidence isn't really confidence when it is founded on nothing.

Going back a few pages and check.

I'm not an expert in the markets and am reliant on reporting and other's take on things. That's why I was watching with interest this morning the expert economists being interviewed, saying they weren't sure what the impact was going to be and wouldn't say we wouldn't go into recession or depression, but wouldn't say we would either.

If the experts don't know how bad (or not) it's going to be, forgive people for being 'salty'. I do assume that when you say salty you mean worried for their futures, yes?

Going back a few pages and check.

Take your time :)

Valid point. But you cannot compare leaving the EU to apartheid.

No I wasn't; I was just trying to highlight that there are democratic reasons for protest and overturning previous democratic decisions.

Something a bit better as an example I suppose; poll tax?
