I think some people don't realise this, they think you're upping prices to capitalise whereas you're doing it to maintain any kind of margin or protect a loss.
I would be very surprised if a company as big as OCUK and with as much exposure to exchange rate, does not buy a forward rate of any kind, it should be longer before an exchange rate dip actually bites
my company was much smaller and only about a third of our stock was in dollars, but even we did, giving us a couple of months to talk to customers to adjust pricing... our turnover on dollars would have been a tiny fraction of what OCUK's must be.
