Yup pretty sure 100% is 4k as when I tried that, my fps dropped to 4 fps

It'll be more if you're on ultra wide 4.5k

hi just had a quick look i cant find the settings you are talking about is it the game settings or will it be origin settings

Sometimes you need to change some settings/key binds for bf to create the file. It's only a text file though, find your bf3/4 and put it in the same place in the file system

Battlefield is back, loving this, feels great, looks great and performance is great.

Bumping along 100fps @ 3440*1440, boots with 42% res scale (1440?), can run 60% with over 70fps and not really feel a difference. Are people bothering to crank this up? It's quite addictive but hits performance hard after 60% on 1440p UW. Think I'd rather 100fps than a little bit more sharpness. What's your take?

I loved BC2,Still my favorite Battlefield to date,I just hope BF1 will have a proper in game server browser,Not this Battle log crap BF4 has.

Battle log is fine, I don't understand people's problem with it. Being web based you can access your load outs from different devices etc look at stats.

On bf4 the msaa didn't work on foliage so it was better to run higher res scale and smaa - you could try that.

Considering you have borrowed someone's account he'd be ****ed of if you did as you are breaking the NDA and could potentially have his entire Origin account banned and removed from any further EA games alpha participation. Unless he or she doesn't care.

Now that the intial fun is over, my complaints:

- left mouse button thing with regards to getting more accurate the longer you hold it needs to go and bring back the tap fire/burst method and as a result, also remove the random deviation of bullets on the first 1-3 bullets fired.....

- tanks guns are really powerful but the tanks themselves are weaker and more useless now imo, against an organised squad, they will get rekt, those hand grenade things are insanely powerful, the anti-tank tow weapon needs to get some drop and slower velocity too

- that zeplin needs to go, once again, dice add the most annoying thing from bf 3 and 4 back to this *face palm*, the health is MUCH higher than the ac130 from bf 4 so planes will be doing at least 15 fly bys.... that is if they can even get close to it in the first place.... Don't know why they add stupid **** like this, game would be so much better without it, for me it just ruins maps and the whole dynamic feel and balance to the game

- don't like the melee system, the charge thing is stupid and I haven't been able to counter any front attacks????

- could just be because alpha and map we have never played before but I feel that there are a ton more campers than before, or maybe it is because of a few things, spotting overall doesn't seem as powerful as bf 3/4, snipers are much better now, much harder to see enemies in this game and same goes for those trip wires, extremely hard to see

Can't help bit think while I'm playing this it would have been better if it was WW2, better guns, better vehicles.
