Austrian Grand Prix 2016, Spielberg - Race 9/21

I also thought it was my connection/laptop, bugging the hell out of me, been messing about with all sorts of settings/restarting connection/router/laptop... clearly was wasting my time:o

Nico Rosberg finished second in qualifying.

But he had a five-place grid penalty for changing gear boxes.

So two plus five equals... (carry the four, divide by nine, square route of 91) seven. It equals seven.

But Rosberg is sixth on the grid?

How? Why? My head hurt.

Because Bernie Ecclestone has the ability to change the laws of mathematics, don't you know.

Oh wait. It's because fourth-placed Sebastian Vettel takes his five-place penalty first, so that pushes Nico up onto the third row.

Cheeky.

Usual F1 common sense :o

My sound is dropping out too. I was worried it was me as just after qualifying yesterday, my signal dropped out totally for several minutes.

lol, how do you apply that with multiple penalties, there's lots wrong with f1, this isn't one of them. it makes perfect sense on why it is what it is.

haha, as long as the viewers like it, I'm not sure I do.

If you can't understand why Rosberg should be in 7th rather than 6th then I'm wasting my time replying to you.

 If you cnat understand why they are applied in order, then I'm wastin.......
oh wait absolutely stupid argument which makes no sense.

So you find it completely fair that Vettel drops 5 places and Rosberg drops 4 places for the exact same gearbox change. That's fair to you??? .... right..... jog on

I figured the sat signal was glitching as it's about to dump it down with rain. Guess it's a local issue so I'll leave the washing out! ;)
