What have you done to your car today?

Cheap cars from trade sellers are a waste of time as exercising your 'right' is rarely easy.

Main dealer approved or private seller from somebody who has owned it a long time.

I thought a trade seller would be best as I have more comeback, can pay by credit card, have protection from the CC company etc.

Thinking about it a private enthusiast seller may be a better bet, but I was just thinking about how to protect myself as much as possible... :p

Off an owners club forum is probably a good shout. You will be able to search the users posts to see what issues they may have had with the vehicle, and hopefully how they went about fixing them too.

Luckily for Acme, his Celica buyer didn't do that :p

Hush. :p

He knows about it all anyway. But I'm still glad he didn't find out like that.

I'm actually amazed... He walked round the car with his mate for ages, pointing out every single little thing and murmuring about it, he even pointed out the 3 or 4 different paint colours/qualities, and the white fleck under the crappy re-spray, the pug in the side of the car, all of it...

And yet still wanted it... :D

I was certain he was going to walk away. Completely certain.

Discovered the weirdest bit of damage last night. Walking back to the car I happened to look down toward he rad and noticed it was bent in the middle.

On closer inspection it's somehow taken a bump from the bottom. I have absolutely no idea how or even if it's been in my ownership and I'm just noticing it now.

One of these stupid little things that is incredibly annoying, I may well knock it back into shape

Exciting times.. Just bought a full exhaust system. Stainless manifolds, 200 cell sports cats and new rear silencers. Should sound very nice indeed when it goes on :)

A big stone maybe?

Nah it would need to have been a brick under the car, kind of thing id definitely notice.

I initially thought someone had hit it and miraculously not damaged the bumper but the covers underneath have a clear dent in them where there has been contact from.....something

It's bit of a non issue really as its only the frame that has been knocked - I'm more annoyed about never having noticed it before! Wouldn't be all that surprised if it was Skoda that somehow done it when fitting the new engine

Sunday I washed the car;

Snow foam - Demon foam....I know, I know :(
2 bucket wash - Auto Glym Body Work Conditioner
Clayed - Bilt Hamber Auto Clay
Pre-Wax Treatment - Dodo Juice Lime Prime
Wax - Dodo Juice Purple Haze (1 coat so far, plan on addding another 2 i possible)

Today I orderd 5ltr Valet Pro Advanced Neutral snow foam to replace the Demon foam, as I don't wont cheap/inferior snow foam stripping the wax off the car.

Put a spare tyre as my tyre was flat this morning. Inspecting it seems to be a nail thats done it. Hate it when that happens and it usually always happens when i'm late for something...
