Maybe the important thing to them was to be able to say that their vote had won?
Perhaps they were closet Leave voters after all, as "We won - deal with it" seems to be a common response to any legitimate concern raised about Brexit.
Exagerating may work for Leave but it doesn't for Remain so perhaps they should avoid it?

Bought 2 HDTVs with 5 years warranty from John Lewis in last 5 years. I thought about get 4K HDR HDTV next year but I am worry the price will push up higher.
To an extent we wont see the real impact on the high street until late in the year / next year because the big players buy the currency a good while in advance to protect them from fluctuations. Its only when they next need to buy said currency that things will go up (assuming the £ is still devalued).
