In theory they dont I agree, but arguably in practice the public voted for Cameron in a lot of places in 2015 because he was viewed as a popular leader.

You've got that the wrong way around.

And ignorance on the part of the public is no reason to run another GE. The system is not esoteric, anyone with base intelligence should be able to understand that they only select their MP.

Honsetly , I am worried about the polices she will push. Can any one please enlighten me on how do the bills get passed on the parliament ? This is the worst possible time with practically no opposition.

they basically get through on majority vote and then refereed to the lords as a double check, where they can get booted out.

I'd get yourselves down the newsagents sharpish and start bulk buying porn, harcopy format is going to be very valuable soon.....................

She's the one who wants the right to snoop on people's browser history right? CCTV state like never seen before on earth.

Good luck with that, LOL.

You know what, May should basically do it, because the "opposition" wouldn't have a chance anyway. lol

Hard to do that now though, "thanks" to the fixed term parliament act that DC implemented. Needs either a vote of no confidence in the gov, or 2/3rd of the commons to call an early GE now. Both are unlikely.

I'm not sure were they with the boundary changes, I know there was talk about them before the last election buy the Lib Dems refused to support the Tories on changes out of protest on some rubbish. It was pretty much all that saved Labour and Ed Miliband from the precipice, if they can get the changes in she should call the election for September and get a nice 60+ seat majority.

Not happening. The LibDems seem very confused about this seeing how they pushed through the fixed 5 year term when they were last part of the government...

Conservatives will struggle to get a majority for article 50 in parliament without it. I'm not sure they can whip enough to do it.
