What film did you watch last night?

Finding Dory in the moonlight cinema in Gran canaria. Honestly thought this film was going to be a forced sequel, but man, Pixar have done it again. These films get me every time :D

8/10

The Big Short

Based on real events, the film tells the story of just a few people who foresaw the banking crisis of 2008. Sounds dull but was actually a very good film.

Dying of the Light

When a devastating illness threatens to end Evan Lake's career in the C.I.A., he goes rogue to hunt down a terrorist who tortured him during a mission gone awry years ago.

It was so bad, like real bad!

2/10

Ghostbusters (2016) - 2/10

The film feels like a collection of scenes poorly put together rather than a single entity, and the almost constant references to better movies just highlight how weak this one is.
The 3D and special effects are truly superb to look at, and the plot has enough variety to keep it watchable with a couple of nice references to the original.

However, the humour is mostly flat and not funny, relying on immature or slapstick gags.

The characters don’t have much depth and although Hemsworth’s performance is great, his character is too annoying to enjoy.
