**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

I posted a while back regarding this, but there seems to be more redmi note 3 users here now.

Has anybody managed to get the natwest app working? And if so how did you do it?

Love the phone, but this is becoming a deal breaker for me :(

It's a real pain not having Natwest app work. I've no idea what prevents it operating. Just closes immediately for me.

Not really a deal breaker though. Would be nice if it worked though....

Important Edit:

Natwest Business banking app works 100% fine. Same basic idea. You assign a 6 digit code to your account, give it your customer number and 'name of business' (I just put Home) and you can quickly log into your bank accounts. Not explored fully but balance is there and transfers etc. I hadn't tried this before because I don't have a business account but it looks like normal accounts work fine too.

So no longer a deal breaker?

You are now my new best friend!!! I LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!!!

On the natwest business app, when it asks for a pin.... Is that an online pin I created once,or is it my cards pin??

I believe the first pin is just one you need to use everytime you load the app.

It also asks you, on setup, the online banking user id, then characters from your memorable pin, some from your memorable word but you'll not need them afterwards.

I know. A revelation for me too.

Just hoping for unlocking Band 20 now.

Pretty happy with my Note 3 pro still, as everyone keeps saying, the battery life is unreal. I was charging my Nexus 6 every day, I now only needing to charge this every 2-3 days depending on use. there is no way i could kill the battery in a single day, unless i really tried to. I reckon 8-9 hours screen on time is doable.

Camera is probably the only short fall, but its default image quality is set to medium, increasing to high helps a little. It's fine for my usage, and it's only really low light that cause a bit of an issue.

Just ordered my wife a gold one, seems they've increased in price by about £15 since I ordered mine a few weeks ago. But still a bargain.

Any redmi note 3 pro can comment on the GPS issue with pokemon go ? Ive been googling and it seems theres an issue about the GPS

I love that this thread is still going :D im glad people can see the potential/price in the lesser brands

looking at picking up a Redmi 3S tbh.. just as a back up phone.

has anyone used oppomart to purchase from before? they have all the colours/size combos in stock.

So am I, I have been buying China phones for the last 4 years, I have bought some cack in the early stages but we all live and learn, the way things are going especially with the likes of Xiaomi, Oppo and Lenovo to name a few it will only get bigger and better. It just goes to show how much the big players have been ripping customers off for years.

Says a lot for the Redmi series. http://en.miui.com/thread-307501-1-1.html

I was the same until I did some research. Its like this, SD = Intel and Mediatek = AMD. However looking at my usage and whats important to me (Band 20 support and a decent camera) the Ulefone Future fits the bill.

The only games I play are Clash of Clans and Boom Beach so the GPU will be fine for that.
