**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Been meaning to post/ask this since I got the S7 edge (one release) - I swapped to the Samsung device from a Sony device that I'd been using for about 3 1/2 years (I had the Xperia T) and I do love the phone, but one thing I would like back is the Sony Album Widget, I liked the ability it had to scroll through photos, and I know I could root the phone and install the actual app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...-album-6-1-0-14-ui-updated-22-t2378816/page52 lol)

but I was wondering if anyone has any alternatives that have the same (or better) function? Maybe I'd be best asking in the app thread but thought I'd try here first.
 
Does Samsung pay work on the S7 uk xeu model? Says my device is not compatible in Google store when I try to download it

Sorry, I know its off topic on the S7 thread but I've seen no news on when sky are launching their service, any details?

Only 'later this year' sadly. They did announce a few days ago that test calls have been made on the Sky Network though and more testing as time goes on.

Okay thanks, I'm about to switch and thought I may hang on to see what they are offering if it was soon, but I don't think I will in case its ages.
 
Im awaiting delivery of mine today. I've currently got a Sony Xperia Z3 and the front glass is loose from the frame as i dropped and cracked it so sent it away for repair but the fubar'd it up. My upgrade isn't due until October and my contract runs out January.

I got onto the live chat at vodafone yesterday, just curious to see what the exit fee would be as i cant keep using my phone the way it is for the next 3 months. There and then they offered to upgrade me. I told them i wanted the S7 flat in black. They offered me unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 6gb of data for £33.60 per month with no upfront cost. I thought happy days and bit their hand off!
 
No issues with the fingerprint reader here on the S7 Edge, I find it's faster than the iPhone 5SE's reader (although not significantly faster as to criticise the iPhone.)

The only time I've ever had an issue with the FP reader is when I was trying to unlock my phone during an outside workout and my fingers were pretty muddy. Never tested the iPhone under the same circumstance (as it's a work phone) but I would assume it would also struggle in that situation.
 
Has anyone noticed a lag in waking up the S7 edge using the home button?

It only happens sometimes for me, on BTU and latest xeu

Phone will be off on standby, i press the home button once then there is a few second delay of the screen from coming on

Im not sure which version is on Sammobile, but I am being offered the following software update when checking manually:

G935FXXS1APG3/G935FXEU1APE2/G935FXXU1APEQ (size: 21.73MB)

(edit: It seems this is not the latest version on SamMobile, it was uploaded on the 12th.. The latest is APG5/APF3)
