Internet suffering from sun stroke...

up and down like a 5 dollar hooker all morning and into the afternoon - seems to have settled down now, just in time to go home.

how sad :D

Was wondering what the poor connection was about earlier, seems fine now though.

Only if you're in the water a lot. Do you watercool any components?

So pleased I'm not on BT. Paring their network to the bone and using foreign call centres by the dozen so they can spend millions on Sport while underinvesting in Openreach.

Anyone still having issues? Internet keeps dropping every like 30+ minutes, on BT Infinity 2. No issues at all before today.

This was kicked off by a power failure at Telecity for what it's worth, lost half the power to our racks there for around 15 minutes this morning.

It's not technically a BT issue as the problem is at LINX, but obviously something went wrong that had a knock-on effect for BT and their wholesale arm is huge so you see a lot of disruption as a result.

Strangely enough my Infinity 2 has 12 days of uptime and doesn't appear to have been affected at all.

Will be interesting to read the response to that one - so much for redundancy...

Oh dear this is bad. Wanted to work from home for a few hours this morning, but cannot access half the websites I need to to. Going to have to head to the office where we have Virgin!
