It's an estrogen blocker iirc, same thing Jones got caught with, mostly used when cycling off steroids as they don't have much use otherwise.

True, but if he has been tested non stop for the month before, he can't have just been coming off a cycle or it would have been picked up.

Which makes it more confusing.

Tell you who is an absolute joke, Melvin ****** Guillard.

Missed weight for the 4th time in 5 fights for the Bellator 159 card.

At what point do you say enough is enough and ban him from a weight class he obviously can't reliably make.

Hope he gets smashed.

Yeah, I'll never understand these guys who continually miss weight - just accept it, you are a small guy at the weight above instead of a big guy at the weight you can't make!!!

I read somewhere that Guillard wants Paul Daley next - nothing like calling out a guy who's just been beaten!

On another note, how ridiculous are the Bellator commentators - when Daley lost to Douglas Lima at Bellator 158, they were saying "Lima can't be happy leaving this in the hands of the judges" - why not? He just completely outclassed Daley in every round - just because it was in England they are crazy to think that anyone scored that fight anything other than 30-27 for Lima!!!!!

Agreed. Ariel Helwani interviewed Mike Dolce on the MMA hour, I believe last week, and Dolce said he charges an annual fee of 5% of the fighters purse. Assuming Bellator's rules are the same as UFC' then Melvin Guillard would lose 20% of his purse at the weigh-ins.

It seems incredible professional fighters don't use Dolce, particularly if they can't consistently make weight.

Hasn't the Dolce diet been debunked as 95% bro science though? I know its effective for making weight, but I'm not sure about the condition it leaves them in afterwards.

I read this somewhere, I can't recall where.

I'm not sure about the Dolce diet but I don't think any of the fighters he works with miss weight. Look at Tiago Alves, he looked massive and used to struggle to get to 170, he's now fighting at 155 with help from Dolce.

UFC 204 for Bisping vs Henderson 2, I'd imagine it's likely to fall either on the 8th or 22nd of October by looking at the UFC calendar of events on Wiki - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UFC_events

Anyone up for doing an OcUK meet up for this? I'm going to go for sure, even if I have to go solo!

How much are tickets? I've never been to a UFC event (I'd like to go :D)

The prices will range from "affordable" (£50ish) to astronomical, last time I went I spent £192 for a ticket to UFC 120 at the O2 Arena in London, the seats were pretty good and I'd be happy to pay that sort of money again for an equivalent seat.

Edit: Did some digging to find out what I actually paid for my seats.

Gotta love Nick Diaz - lose 3 straight and get banned for drugs and now he says he'll fight the champion "for the right price"!?!?!

Even Woodley is getting on my nerves already - he wants the "money fights" against Diaz/GSP etc - when did it become acceptable for a champion to pick and choose who he fights rather than fighting the number 1 (or possibly 2) contender?

I mean OK, clean out the division and then pick all the superfights you want - just don't do it before you've defended your title even once! (McGregor/Woodley, I'm looking at you!!!)
