Who is going to get a Pascal Titan X ?

Believe what you want

This is an old pic where I had been benching.

Fury Xs run very cool with decent custom water.

There are 3 x 489mm rads in the system.

Q.E.D.

In other words you're using double skinned house radiators :)

Now you can run firefox at infinity frames per second!
but seriously, it's a novelty at most as most people here probably suck at games and don't play them competitively to justify the premium over more cost effective options
blah blah blah it's your money etc etc. You're really just trying to compensate for something missing in your lives. A normal, well adjusted individual would never spend 1.3k on a novelty graphics card.

Bought the old Titan X but 'might' skip it this time, mostly due to not having time for gaming and struggling to see where I can fit some in. I did say 'might' however but so far this year I've held off from buying new PC components very well.

Makes me laugh some of the comments in the thread like "The Titan X was supposed to be the 1080 Ti" and "A normal, well adjusted individual would never spend 1.3k on a novelty graphics card.". Whaaaa? :D. Funny though

You do comprehend that this isn't a lot of money don't you? A component that will be used every single day for a good year or so providing the optimum gaming experience is actually fairly cheap on the whole if you game frequently.

Do you stand outside car showrooms screaming "think of the costs" to everyone buying a luxury motor? :)

It's not a lot of money? And this is why Nvidia feel they can take us all from behind and ram us so hard that we bleed out money from our butt holes... What a moronic thing to say! 1200 for JUST a GPU for playing GAMES is a MASSIVE amount of money, unless you get paid for playing games? The only reason to spend that kind of cash is if you need the card for WORK. Even then it's not really justifiable when the RX480 is a better work card for the money!

For me the RX480 is pure gold for peanuts when doing NLE stuff.

Says a lot of people... Have you been keeping up? There was a video posted here earlier that basically explained it.

It's all peoples opinions and when it comes to graphics cards and especially NVidia those opinions are a bit 'out there' sometimes. I reckon Nvidia might release a faster card but it doesnt mean the TX is a Ti. Ti's are aimed at a different market usually anyway. So a real TX then is going to be £2000? Nah, a faster card will probably just replace the new TX (at the price point), as the BLack did with the original Titan. I have no idea though but probably more acurate than these many other people.

Same people believing the Tx is the Ti are likely the same folks having a huge issue with the pricing this generation

Maybe Nvidia won't release a Ti this time around in which case there simply won't be a Ti, the 1080 isnt it (but closer to it) and the TX isn't either.

Like the guys trying to sell their 1080's for the Titan X, in a couple months time anyone that buys the Titan X will be regretting it... It never ends...

But you also have to add the costs for all the other top end components / Peripherals / Monitor /games / etc to go with that Pascal Titan x

i7-6950X Extreme CPU £1450...
Gync Monitor £700 to £1000
Motherboard £400 to £500
Memory £300
etc
