Surprising there's no VR option as 'free gift', is there anywhere listing all the nerdy tech specs? *GSMArena suggests UK may get VR option instead of watch

I have preordered with the hope it comes with the vr headset.

I can then sell on the headset which will take some of the 'edge' off the price.
 
Anyone else seen that GSM Arena list the battery as a Lithium Polymer? Should give a slight advantage over li-ion apparently

Have done the same, opted for Black. I used to own the darker blue that samsung did, I think it was on the s3, but this blue is too light for my liking. There's also going to be a case on it, so playing safe.
 
Dare I say they have added some class to touchwiz... some of the videos showing a nice looking ui. Maybe I will try a black one lol. Dam so weak

I'd be amazed if that happened within 6 months of launch. Given that the UK missed out on the last Note their customer base will want one of these badly. I think £50/month and £50 upfront for the handset is a closer estimate.
 
So I am rocking a Xperia Z3 at the moment and interested in the note. I'm thinking this is still one hell of an upgrade, but judging by comments here, am I better off with the S7 Edge instead?

If you really want/need the s pen and/or the extra screen estate is important. Also an updated touchwiz which I don't think they'll put onto the s7 edge for a while to encourage you to buy this.

The pen is funky but don't think it'll get a lot of use, that said never had a note before so maybe i'll use it loads.

It was the screen real estate that had me piqued though.

I get lost in the detail of all these cpus and dragonsnaps etc... I assume the power increase would be noticeable over my z3?

Upgrade date is Aug 14th, so may go into CPW are pre order :)
 
I always thought the note introduced new leading edge hardware that then dribbled down to the next galaxy phone, this is using the same hardware as the s7 that's been out a while.
