Not bike but gear....got some Renapur from Amazon based on recommendations and have thrown it on everything!

Even ended up using it on my wallet :D

I got a tub a couple of months back and done my gloves and jacket, and now I keep eyeing up the sofa as well :o

Some of you lot go to track days quite frequently, do you cover you speedometer? If so, why? Distraction or is it when you see the speed you're doing you slow down?

Makes sense, I still have that stupid bad habit of looking at my speedo from my practical.

BTW Has anyone done a trackday on the Angel GT's?

As Tom said its a distractions same with mirrors, you should be concentrating on what you are doing not looking down at your clocks or whats going on behind you.

And in regards to what you said on the previous page not really, the novice group is the safest, you might just come across slower people in corners, in the other groups you get plenty of people who 'Think' they are quick crashing every 2 mins, stuffing it up the inside of people like its a BSB race, if they are a decent track organiser then they will move people out of groups up and down.

That tuono is a cat D write off, not sure if I want to go look at it now. It's a bit expensive for a cat D, only £750-1000 less than a non cat D bike. I bet it was frame damage where that sticker on the frame is. :(

The search continues...

I finally got some new gloves without lining!

Personally I wanted to know how fast I was approaching corners, I took my mirrors off though.

I did the trackday on my SV with BT-021s and it was fine.

Thanks all, I think I'll tape it... If I look at the speedo, it'll make me slow down by realising how fast I'm going.

@misterjingo, 1 step closer to becoming a power ranger with matching gear. :p (jokes aside, nice gloves.)

You're brave lol  If I ever get a SM, I'll put BT's on... I won't have to use the rear brake to slide in corners. :p

There's quite a few Speed's for under 4k with low mileage and aftermarket parts. Try Gumtree, I usually sell things on there within a week. :)

New GSXR

The rear end isn't too bad, but its missing something...

I'm not a fan of the new GSXR in terms of the design, the front reminds me a Hyosung my mate has. The sticking indicators... the whole package just looks cheap. :( Although, K6, K7 and K8 are still my only favourite GSXR's. Maybe in the future they'll come up with a better desing, but for now... just nope.

Totally agree with this mate, when I saw the front of the new GSXR, first thing that came to mind was Hyosung, I think it's the GT model Hyosung!! The K6, K7 and K8 were by far the best In looks, My mates just got a K7 1000, Lovely machine

Nice, I mean look at the K5 and L1, they look so much alike! Its ridiculous...

I've to give it to Yamaha, look at the older sports from early 2000's, Yamaha was so much ahead in terms of the design. They still are in a way, the R1(M) looks so futuristic compared to other competitors.

Edit:
For the next bike, I'll either get a R6 or GSXR K8. I don't want to jump onto a 1000, it'll be too early...
