Black Lives Matter protest in London and Nottingham

I really don't get this either. Inequality in the UK really doesn't seem to be an issue for black people. If anything, I would expect European immigrants to be out their complaining.

I think if people are infringing other peoples ability to get on a flight which they have paid hundreds or thousands of pounds for it is perfectly reasonable to move them by force if they don't immediately comply when asked to move

Also with the current threat level at severe I imagine the police hate having large groups of people who don't need to be there at places such as Heathrow.

You surely aren't being serious asking why they haven't been arrested ?
I would say the name of the organisation gives a slight clue.

You cant honestly believe it is because they are black.

The police are hesitant to arrest most protesters, regardless of race.

Police were very restrained with the middle-class youth protesting fox hunting years ago, despite it getting way out of hand many times.

Protests are tricky, take the heavy handed approach and they become martyrs while making the cause more radical. Prevent the protest from starting and it looks like you are infringing on peoples rights. Stop the protest from escalating and it seems like governments are covering things up.

There is no winning way to deal with a protest like this, all you can do is arrest them when they cause an appropriate amount of disruption and hope the rest fizzle out

If you think the Police don't hesitate when protesters are playing the race card then you're in denial.
When protesters are black it's a different ball game.

No

Police hesitate with protesters of ANY kind. If you think they care because they are black and dont if they are white, you are looking for some sort of injustice that is not there.

Is there any policemen here that can comment on the orders they received to leave black people alone?

They done the same outside Birmingham Airport today, held up the Coventry road.

No article to link too, is on the Birmingham Updates page on Facebook.

5 of them were arrested.

Denial of the real world and it isn't just the Police it's the whole public sector who ALWAYS have to tread on eggshells when people are using colour for an argument.
Who said the Police have orders to operate differently ? it simply stands to sense to a Policeman to always take account of a persons colour when intervening as they can always play the race card which white people can't do.

God, I feel for those people trying to get to the airport to go on holiday and they can't because the road is blocked by fools.

Most of them at Heathrow appear to be white

The had their so-called leader on Radio 4 this morning, some Oxford student. Hated the way the presenter fawned over him and didn't challenge his views much.

Didn't realise this was a thing in the UK. Is it a bit like how we adopted Black Friday?

I'm trying to work out the link between protesting about be oppressed by the police and going on a shopping spree the day after Thanksgiving. :D
