No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

Well spent a few hours on it ... 1 million or so in the bank . upgraded gun and few choice upgrades elsewhere . Runs like crap .. Gonna try the new ati drivers . Dose not look great even at max... But im enjoying it .

Think to many people zoom about and dont look about each planet . Have uncovered loads of new words.. Few crashed "new" ships but all the same size as i have .

I think the key is to farm the first second planet and buy a ship there . There was a 24 slot ship for only 1.2 mill which im sure further into the game looking as some streams i have watched would cost you 4 + mill .

Wont be refunding and its a nice brain out sunday game .. Im sure after a few patches it will run a lot better

Spent 2 hours in it. Already ahead of my mate who has it on ps4. 80-140 FPS (only runs off of one card). Even with the options maxed the pop-in of the land and items is awful.
Even at 1440p it just looks poor.

Gameplay wise I still want to play it more... So thats good. But even 2 hours in its extremely monotonous. Not sure what else there will be to do.

Literally played it for 2 hours without issue at first.

Since then my PC has downloaded an 18MB patch for the game and now it suddenly exits the game within minutes with no error message or anything.

My Windows 10 insider preview did also update between it working and not working, so that could be an issue but i doubt it.

Don't know if this has been posted but to get more FPS you have to set the frame rate to greater than 60 in game.

Worked for me. I had it set to 60 and it wouldn't get higher than 58.7.
Set it to 90 and now it's at 60.

6 hours in game without a single crash, alt + tab bug is annoying.

FPS seems fine, everything maxed & 3440x1440p floating around the 60fps mark most of the time, running on a Fury x.

Game could be better but its far from bad.

So, I've seen a few multitool upgrades but none of them have the analysis visor and I don't seem to have the blueprint for it, anyone else had that problem or am I just okay to upgrade?

What is the team size on the game though? that looks like the kind of fidelity I'd put out but then it would be basically just me working on it heh.

I appreciate the team is small but the pixels on that gun are terrible, it also shows how poor the scaling on the text is.

Someone commented elsewhere that the game looks like a 720p upscaled game. I'm inclined to agree. I also read that it doesn't use dx11 or even dx9, openGL only.

If you're going to charge triple A prices...

It's not running proper 21:9... something is definitely off. FOV only goes up to 100 which isn't enough, but it feels stretched.

Are we stuck with these graphics forever then? Any chance of updates improving this? I agree rather pathetic for a AAA game. I'm enjoying it, but still, feels like I'm playing a PS4 game. :(

4 hours in now, just left my first planet.

Loving the game, feel for those who are giving it a chance but suffering performance problems. Luckily for me its running great and just realised its 1:30am :D

Ive actually started playing it with the xbox controller all the time now which seems much better. Originally i just wanted the controller for flight but it seems to work well all round.

Also means you can look around inside the cockpit in flight which is always nice. Anyway nice screenshot of my next home for tomorrow :)

Found my first drop pod :D

One more exosuit space for me! I drastically need a better ship. 1 more location on this planet and that's 1 done!

God I love this.

@Legend, FOV can be altered in Steam folder> no mans sky> binaries> settings> tkgraphicalsettings. That should work..
