Reforging in some form needs to return. Not as easy as before but perhaps making it possible to change one perk or merge two guns together to get the best of both of them. Eyasluna with rifled barrel and range finder just seems to op, but I've never had it

Yep The Taken King was miles better than the previous stuff. The Dark Below and all the Eris Morn dramatic stuff is just a bit sad, the game is miles better when it's not being so serious with Fillion's voiceover work.
 
Completely forgot, but I wonder if Bungie will have some pre-ROI event planned like they did with House of Wolves and WoW currently has with the Legion pre-patch
 
IIRC on the last live stream you had one of the Live team leads talking about the work they have been doing on ROI.

I understood this to mean that all of the teams focus has been on ROI and we won't see anything before hand.

I suppose it is possible for a re-hash of SRL (identical tracks) as that doesn't really require a specific time in the year to be relevant.

Honestly though I think we won't see anything until ROI. I am ok with this as I have got somewhat hooked on Neverwinter.. :p
 
festival of the lost is coming back in October and SRL in december post ROI.

There are no pre ROI events planned I believe apart from Iron Banner next week.
 
I don't think anyone is expecting an event, but usually there's some minor bits of the next expansion that are made available before the expansion officially releases.

In the past, that has been the Wolves attacks before HoW launched, or the overhaul of the Quest system etc before TTK launched. I expect we'll see something similar this time as well as Bungie deploy the update up to a week early so it just needs to be unlocked on release day.
 
Not been on destiny for abit and cant wait. I'll play the next iron banner as that should get my skills (:p) back up to scratch and abit of gear to infuse with my lower alts.
 
It's quite funny how comparable Destiny is to WoW. House of Wolves had the invasions, Wrath had the undead invading. TTK had improved questing and levelling, Cataclysm had improved questing in WoW.

Perhaps a Demon Hunter 4th class is coming to Destiny lol
 
Almost went 21-40 since I started the other day. I had finished it, but never did either DLC so have done those and now on TTK. Really enjoying it again and the crucible stuff is rather good.
 
Well, looks like Bungie have a big stand same as last year at Gamescom. Rest of the lineup is pretty uninspiring tbh, but at least I'll get a little lookie at RoI tomorrow.
 
For anyone pre-ordering rise of iron and have a disc version of destiny, if you own taken king you can pay around £5 more and get the destiny collection upgrade. I've been wanting to go fully digital with destiny so this isn't too bad.

It will be the 3rd time I've bought everything though lol.

I was meant to go Gamescom this year but things didn't work out exactly.

Bungie has a big stream today for PVP, I think it will be the decider for me, if its more of the same then I will just give up on the PVP for the most part and focus on overwatch and BF1. Interesting either way though.
 
Yeah they finally have private matches, and they copied kill confirmed from CoD and showed 3 new maps. Honestly private matches is cool and all but I don't think it was enough for a full year of development.
