I guess the only downside to that is the "The pair face up to 10 years in jail after their Old Bailey trial." Upto 10 years can be anything in British sentencing.

Problem is with the disproportionately higher number of Muslims in UK jails(so much for religious people having better morals eh!) relative to the % in the general population and with the increase in Islamic extremism within jails I really hope he is kept separate from the general prison population.
