Well I'm still loving it ...
BUT...
E3 trailers that show any game whatsoever to be something other than it actually is should be legally binding. You dont watch a film trailer and see a worse film, so why is this acceptable with games?
I've watched the E3 trailers for this in 2014, 2015 and 2016 back to back and bearing in mind E3 2016 was only 2 months ago, the end result compared to what was promised is ridiculous.
I'm enjoying it, but I feel like I could be enjoying it so much more. This really is borderline false advertising. I'm aware of how much peoples hype might have got the better of them, I wasn't one of them which is why I feel like I'm still enjoying it, I refused to watch any trailers or spoilers before it was released.
Even though I'm enjoying it I think Sean Murray has a huge amount of questions to answer, and he isn't bothered about it in the slightest. Forget whatever was mentioned about multiplayer, where the hell is the kid of life and space battles that were offered up in the trailers? Where are the sand planets? What about the AI?
I'm going to try for a refund, its literally not as advertised and I feel like the fact that I enjoy it shouldn't detract from the fact that game devs shouldn't lie.
