Well if nothing else the ref is consistent on the pulling in the box. Although that one looked really soft

Edit: DM is probably right, making up for the blatant one missed earlier

I would say that is a clear case of making up for the shocking decision to not give Stoke a penalty in the first half but giving Sterling a penalty for him making up for the wrong call is harsh.

wasnt looking for the ball just obstructing the offensive player, blatant penalty (baring in mind the new ruling for this season)


Did like that stat - Stones cost more than Hughes entire outlay in 3 seasons. Shows just how much the "typical" top four's spending power is so much more than even a top ten EPL team

Even if the ref deems its a foul surely its an indirect free kick as obstruction even in the box ?

Burnley playing us perfectly atm just letting us have ball and we're struggling to break em down we always find this hard, this is were we need mane or another player to just run at one person and take em on to make openings

Same old Liverpool. I said we had bought so many attacking players that we would leak goals and cost us points this season, thats 5 conceded in the first 2 games already.

Yup but I'm hoping matip and karius will help as I'm sure matip and Sakho will be better cb pairing and karius seems to be better at organising the line
