They were the morning after the referendum - but DC bottled it so Osbourne got sacked.

True

Osbourne should have announced the emergency budget the very second the result came in.

I mean FFS they said there needed to be an emergency budget if we voted to leave and he didnt do it the very second it was announced we would leave
What a slacker, does he not know the definition of emergency

Why bother arguing points made by either side when both were lying as much as each other.

Still unsure which side is "project fear" as they were both doom mongering lying scrubs.

Yeah I heard the Persimmon report this morning. Very strange especially since the one we deal with is bigger and they basically stopped. The good news there is two weeks ago they started building again (digging new foundations on new plots) so it was only a 7 week halt. It will still hurt their figures massively so will be interested to see their results when published.

Perhaps Persimmon appeal to a different buyer than the company I was talking about? They have definitely been affected totally differently.

Cheers for the update :)

Remain promised an emergency budget straight after the result - it was a promise they had the power to keep but didn't.

As for Brexit costs £5b is not going to require tax increases etc lol

Article 50 was promised on 24th as well. How is that going? Oh yeah nobody knows when/if it ever will happen ;)

Stop trolling.

Remain promised A50 as part of Project Fear which was all lies so whats your point?

I think the one who missed the point was you... a few threads ago given the content of some of these posts lol

I will check back in this thread when there is any news on brexit... if we even get the ball rolling while this thread is still alive...

HAHAHA what? Thought Article 50 was/ is all that Leave want asap and ideally back on 24th of June. By the sound of it you are now against it though as it was all just some fear mongering tool to make people vote IN.

Think I'm done responding to you until such time you start making sense or go back to school in September. ;)

 no idea what you are going on about.

I think the govt should invoke it when they are ready which looks like April next year.

So in an EU army we could still do what we want when we want militarily?

So what would be the point of it?

To have a quick reaction force that can be moved around Europe to either counter percieved aggression from Russia or for humanitarian issues like Syria affecting member states.

A quick reaction that requires 27 / 28 countries to vote or controlled at the will of Brussels?

Which I think will be a dumb time to invoke A50.

The Netherlands has elections in March 17.
France has elections in March/April 17.
Germany has elections in September 17.

Any negotiations in 2017 are going to be massively hampered by the various election cycles. All incumbent German and French politicians will insisting on punitive exit conditions as a cheap ratings booster for their own election chances.

A50 should have been invoked this summer.
