CPU overheating H110i at fault?

One of the reasons I've put my case back on the floor instead of the desk!
Sure it looks 'cool' on the desk and I can see all the overpriced tech I've bought through the window while putting it through its paces watching youtube and posting on forums, but it really made me realise how sensitive I was to the fan noise!
Now its on the floor my ears are much happier but still am not 100% happy with my fan noise from supposedly quiet Coolermaster Silencio FP-120 PWMs
I might eventually move it to the floor again, but I'll need to make a little riser to keep it off the carpet so it doesn't choke off the air flow.
Might put a cage over it to keep the cats off it as well, they can't resist the heat from it under load.
@Daaaveee are they really loud? I always hear that they're supposed to be around 6 dBa under "silent" mode.
I think the best way to truly have a quiet room is to have your system in a different room and then just using the likes of Thunderbolt to a hub on your desk to control it all.
That way you'll never hear your system at all. Although that is an extremely solution.

They're not loud as such, but I have to keep them under 900rpm otherwise I can hear them over my CPU cooler (Cryorig H7 at 850rpm idle). I've tried re-mounting to see if its a vibration against the case but they still have the same sound profile once they're up over 60% fan speed. Apparently they're 6.5 - 14 dBA at 800 - 1400 RPM so I guess I must have a quiet room or have overly sensitive hearing?!
I tried swapping them out with Noctua NF S12B Redux 700 (2x front intake 1x rear exhaust) but they just don't flow enough air to be honest. Really nice a quiet though at 6.8dBA!
I've ended up with the Silencios back in at 900rpm (2x front intake 1x rear exhaust) and 2 of the Noctuas in the roof as intake to keep things positive. Would like to try some more fans but feel like I might be chasing my tail really.
I'm guessing from the fan specs anything much over 10dBA is audible to me and starts to annoy.

Yeah you might just be doing in circles. You'll probably think my system is a leaf blower, as it can get up to around 40dBa under max load after 2 hours.
Then again Fury X pump is the prime culprit there, with its fan.
Going passive is really hard though, still need to shift the heat somehow. Linustechtips had a nice video on how he moved his wife's and his computer to another room and simply used Thunderbolt. It all depends on if your system can support a TB add in card.
I did something similar with my old Thunderbolt RAID arrays when I used a Mac Pro.
