In loadout, select a class, select a weapon or gadget and click on it, it then gives you a list of items you can switch it for. The ones you haven't bought yet can be bought there if you have enough war bonds.

just played conq with nexus. in the tank its so easy. also no scoping on horses is great fun

No, you only get a tanker, pilot, horse kit etc. when you first spawn in on said tank, plane or horse and are the primary driver/pilot afaik.

The only kit you get for pilot and tanker is that crappy carbine rifle, pistol, hammer and you are able to self repair by holding x, without this, you can't hold x to repair.

I think I've just worked out why I was confused. Proper tanks/planes don't just spawn in the open, you can only spawn into them from the spawn screen (unless a teammate has already done so). It's the armored cars you can just jump into and drive off in.

vehicles seem very buggy ... despawns, weapons firing more than half a screen from the cross hair (at point blank range), weapons firing (effects and sound) but no projectile or damage ....

The map is great apart from the objective E. It's OK if you are in one of the faster vehicles or a horse, if not it takes half the game to cap.

Not enjoying this game at all even with all the good stuff unlocked. I really hope they give us another map and not just the alpha one again as the current map is ****ing awful, you would have thought that they would have given us the best map for this demo...

One thing this beta has done though is made me want to play bf 4 again and even hardline!

I really can't wait to see what happens after 2-4 months after release with regards to the youtubers and whether they will still be uploading footage or not.

Yeah the land tank is pretty beastly but once people get the AT rocket and planes get unlocks, I don't think it will be as easy, especially if going out in the open areas.

You can also jump in and drive a tank and even fly a plane if it has landed as an assault, medic, scout etc., you just won't be able to hold x to repair since you don't have the proper kit for it

Hey ! I happen to like E ! I like that there is one flag out in the desert, sort of reminds me of that huge desert map in BF1942...which one was it? (EDIT : ah yes, El Alamein it was

) Plus I love defending E as an Assault with an AntiRocket Gun because it has an AA gun and a Cannon there as well. So you have something to deal with planes and tanks and can see things approaching from a distance (as long as there is no sandstorm)

I'm the opposite, 358 hours in BF4 prior to BF1 beta, since BF1 not a single minute in BF4 and no inclination to do so

played 1 rush and 1 conquest. Prefer the setting to all the modern stuff the past 10 years or so.. If i was going to pick it up i'd really have to have a squad of friends to play with, which i dont.

Game is pointless on your own, you get next to nothing done with no communication.

Beta is Beta but as mentioned before seems like 70% of the players are snipers and its also riddled with people going 50-0 not sure if these are pro players, campers or just botters. Pass for now, until i get friends

Only 358? Bless your still a young 'un, think Nexus has over 1000 hours so for him to yearn for playing BF4 again is impressive lol

A sniper isnt likely to get 50 kills in a round, the most likely scenario for a 50-0 player is that its someone in a tank playing a round where nobody is bothering to use cannons or Assault antitank rockets against them. Its staggering how many rounds I play where people just let tanks run riot without using the very weapons in the game designed to take them out

Ahh..well that explains a lot. Its like a marriage to him then, the longer you stay with a spouse the more likely you are to fight to stay with them rather than pick up another one
