*** The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Thread ***

OK....

I've just had a phone call from the Exchange Team. The call was to inform me that the Exchange Program will commence on the 19th of September and my Retailer will contact me.

Firstly, Mr Samsung, you are my retailer.

Secondly, Mr Samsung, the Samsung Shop have not clue about this - they tell me that they are not dealing with this, it's the Exchange Team.

When registering for an exchange, I was told that the Exchange Team would ring me in 7 days. Was that the call? I have waited 4 days for someone to ring me to tell me they won't be starting till the 19th? And that's it. No other information. For every question I asked, they read out the exact same response, "Your retailer will contact you about the exchange".

PS - It's very difficult to put down my thoughts here, as all you would be able to see would be asterisks......

Did you ring the 03 number?

Yep last Saturday ...but had little faith in call when he asked my to give him the model number "your find it on the battery" :eek:

So emailed them same day

just think the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing

I have a good idea where they have stuck there thumbs tho
 
I just chatted to CPW and they said call the 0800 number at the CPW web site and they would arrange for DHL to pick up my phone, however I would then be without one till the 21st October. So I asked some pertinent questions around what am I supposed to use as a phone til l then and who will pay for my contract that I can't use while my phone. Was informed that the contract would be cancelled and that I would get a PAC code to use on a new contract if I so desired. :( :eek:
 
Samsung just called to confirm that three will be issuing an replacement phone NOT SAMSUNG and this will start from the 19/09 progress I see but now no freebies :(
 
If I don't get call back by tomorrow they will be getting a snotty phone call come saturday

Thought to give them time until Saturday as well as I haven't received a call either. I'll keep you posted if I receive one.

In the meantime I might send them another 1024 emails until someone sees them :)
 
When will orders be back up on Samsung and other retailers with new stock? Was about to jump ship to Apple but I would need the 128gb plus and that's £819 :p
 
Got my phone from ee and they just called me, they want to send me a s7 edge as a loan phone whilst the new notes are being prepared they said they could get me one tomorrow between 6pm and 10pm but I am going to east Asia for 2 weeks at 5pm they said it was fine to keep hold of the phone until I returned and hopefully they can do a swap for a new one then, I also asked about screen protector and they said they would give me a credit to get a new one
