Just realised that I haven't eaten any meat at all for over a week, and TBH, not missed it!
As I have been quite a big meat eater all my life, and still have a freezer full of steak and chicken breasts this has come as a bit of a shock. I still think I'll eat it occasionally, but as of now I just don't feel like I want it at all.
Anyone else gone veggie recently?

I've also stopped eating bread and chocolate.Send help.

I stopped eating meat 5months ago. No real reason, I just wanted to try it out and see if I can live without meat including fish and seafood. I am now in the routine of cooking fresh veg every day into great meals like curries etc. I do however still eat eggs and dairy like cheese and milk. Not really missing it tbh. And tbh I am feeling personally better and have lost weight. But I think this is mainly due to the fact that I now always cook and prepare food myself, eat no processed food and atm stay away from takeaways and eating out.

Meat all the way man. Can't imagine going full vegetarian. I did at one point at university as it was cheaper but never again.

You seem to be doing it the right way as you're still eating fish, I'm trying to find the study I read but those who don't eat seafood or meat are missing vital nutrients to stay healthy.

I'm still eating seafood, eggs and cheese. I'll have to look into what nutrients I might be missing out on. I've lost weight already which is a plus.

You are definitely becoming a veggie because you are now telling EVERYONE about it.

Now we know to look forward to you telling us about it in every post.

Who's that, also I don't mind a veggie dinner every now and then but I just love meat too much to go full hog :D

A vegan, who told us he was a vegan, even if it had nothing to do with the topic at hand.

"My car won't start"

"Oh I've never had this problem when popping out to pick up my shopping, no animal produce though. I'm a vegan don't you know!"

Type of thing.

Ah, that kind of person then ;)

Been a veggie since the new year, and was like you a huge meat eater. I used to eat chicken & steak & fish every day because I do a lot of training, I've not missed it tbh. Don't get me wrong my favourite food will always been beef & pork ribs, but the way the animals are treated is awful.

Was a veggie for almost 4 years. Stopped almost a year ago now, missed bacon like you wouldn't believe.

I'll absolutely admit that the hypocrisy of meat eaters is disgusting though. Complaining every chance we get about animal welfare and the like, all the while eating factory farmed rubbish on a weekly basis. You're either a vegan, someone who buys EXCULSIVELY from places that sell genuine organic products, or you're an *******. Simple as that really.

Please fully star out any swearing, thank you.

Have you found it has impacted your training at all?
