Hey, looking for some advice, the SSD ( SAMSUNG, PM951 512gb) I have in my Alienware seems to have died, they are saying they have no Samsung in stock so are offering me a Toshiba XG3 SSD 512GB, but I cant see much on the internet about this drive, will this be the same speed as the samsung or should I push for a Samsung replacement?

If you're unable to find any benchmarks showing the Toshiba performs as well or better than the Samsung then I would refuse it and wait.

Do you have the option to run your own benchmarks and return it?

Revies of XG3 (1TB tho)

According to a later tweaktown review the suggestion is both that a revodrive400 is and isn't the same :/

In our XG3 review, we mentioned that a retail version was coming soon via OCZ's RevoDrive 400. We speculated that OCZ's RevoDrive 400, or RD400, as we will refer to it going forward, was about to launch and that the RD400 would likely deliver even better performance than the XG3. Both of our assumptions turned out to be correct.
