What time were you down? I did think to see if you were there, we got there about 7:30ish and stayed for an hour.

We were there from about 6.30 and left about 8:45 ish. It's easy to miss people with everyone about though.

We were parked up the top by CEX. Was good to ride through the bargate and give it bit of a rev when we left :D

IC3 come to Switzerland/europe to see the biker camaraderie. A guy in Austria took a few hours out of his day to load up my friend's bike and take it to a garage for us as he used to be a biker. He refused payment and said 'this is what we do for each other'.

I'm in the last few days of a huge tour here and biking friends are just amazing.

Just to make it clear, I don't mean to put everyone in one jar. There's loads of friendly British bikers, when I go in wearing a leather jacket, holding my helmet along with my gloves some older bloke always starts a chat with me about bikes. I politely chat with them, even when in hurry I always find those 5 minutes.

The way we, Slavs party is different. All I can say, is if you get invited to a Slavic weeding go there no matter what... you'll see what I mean. If its a bikers weeding, even better. ;)

Just came back from a Hungarian biker rally, its a 3 days party. I felt like at home, the way they party doesn't differ that much from how we Poles party. :D

P.s. I'll do Switzerland and Austria next year, this year I had couple unexpected things which costed me money. But its an investment for future and that takes priority over holiday. :p

Echo all of the above re driving this week, so much so that I got hit on Tuesday on my way home.
Filtering round a roundabout a guy side-swiped me, somehow I managed to stay upright and luckily he collided with my crash bars. Tiny scuff on the fairing but otherwise no damage to the bike and most importantly the crash bars stopped him breaking my leg. His car was a bit of a state though! :D

While i do belive filtering is a good thing, filtering on a round about seems down right dangerous.

I'm doing an ocuk tour next year, there's space if you want to join in.

Roundabouts with stationary traffic can be dodgy, people pulling onto them just don't look as they see all the cars not moving and assume no-one is coming round.

I had someone pull out on me (plenty of time to stop/rev bomb/horn her) on a roundabout, 3 exits, one straight on which was full of cars not moving, 2 lanes into one, and the right turn which was completely free of cars. Me going right, filtered through the stationary cars, and someone pulling onto the roundabout just didn't bother looking.

It happens, no big deal as I was only doing 5mph as I'd just been weaving through the stationary cars and could see that she wasn't going stop a mile off. Maybe she'll look a bit better next time...

Also, this is me, right now. :D

Not sure my bike will be able to keep up with you lot, but I doubt I'll hoon it as the scenery is too beautiful. I'll probably ride like a pensioner in his Honda Jazz on a Saturday. :p

My bike has the same engine as yours.. sooooo that is not an excuse
also we are not going for a race so I'll not be in any rush :)

I'm running a 7x5 and had no issues so far.

To make it worse, I've got no baffle, have a race visor, and rather than buy a tail tidy, I removed some plastic and just stuck my plate on the stub thats left, so the angle is out - my reflector dropped off ages ago too and I haven't stuck it back on yet :p

I see police daily, sit in front of them in traffic etc and never been as much as glanced at. At least around brum, they dont seem to care.

And don't forget you ride 'a bloody hooligans bike' :p

I think it'll be fine, I might get another as this one's not got a GB thing on for Euro trips (although neither does my CB400 plate and I was fine over there with that).

7x5 here, been pulled up couple times. But never for the plate... :p

47bhp? :p

Edit
Has anyone tried Contisport attack 2? The centre seems very hard and on the edges it nice and soft.

I'm sure it would be different if we met up in person, but based on your posts here on this forum I wouldn't ride with you on a group ride. No offence.

I keep a big distance (to the point that I can still see the bike in front), the bikes that people usually ride have brakes that stop in much shorter distance. They did tell me stories about idiots that were trying to prove something and sat on their rear. I'm slow, when I say fast. Its fast for me. ;)

So they aren't exactly the same power, aren't they. :p
