Is my daughter psychic?

Funny... when my son was three I stayed with him at his grandparents house and the missus drove home on her own. This is a 100 mile usually two hour journey and she said she would ring when she got home.

Turns out the M25 was a car park and it took her 4 and a half hours to get home. Nothing strange there except, my boy was playing with some Lego and humming to himself and then he just looked up and said "Mummys Home" and 5 seconds later the phone rang and it was her.

Grandparents were in the room at the time and all our jaws just hit the floor. We spoke about it just the other day and we are all still baffled by it.

You really think you're going to get an unbiased answer on here? (for the record I'm on the fence - not enough evidence)

Don't get me wrong, I would love to believe in the afterlife, psychics, ghosts, spirits and if someone can prove any then i'll be happy to change my own beliefs.

However, in this case, someone will have said the name. Possibly another relative who told them a story about a photo etc.

It'd be amazing if she was seeing/hearing him, but it's not very likely is it? :)

And that's from someone that experienced a few odd things as a child myself, such as disappearing from a locked 3rd floor bedroom late in the evening, appearing on the ground floor screaming my head off when the only way to get from A-B would have been to walk right past my parents.

meh, I pick up my phone as I think i've had a message and seconds later it'll be my wife messaging me while I am still holding it. But i'd rather take it that I am sensing something in the air as the phone is receiving before I'd jump to psychic.

I also hear voices shouting my name in the night and it can wake me up, a 'psychic' friend says that it's my own psychic ability.... don't believe it.

When I was a kid my dad was away on work and was coming back this day, my mom asked me randomly what time I thought he'd get back home. I said bang on 3! Just as a random guess, funnily enough bang on 3PM he knocked on the door. :p

Totally psychic.

We also need Dickyb0b.

I'm really not in to all this kind of stuff, but I do believe in spirits, in a way, more religiously (aka, Holy Spirit) rather than things people see. However, when my eldest son was 8 weeks old, we went to Scotland to visit his great grandma. Now, my grandad was a complete joker, his life was spent being the fun grandad, always fooling around. He died in 2001. We were staying in my Grandmas house and in the bedroom, which used to be the bedroom my grandma and grandpa had (she now stays in the smaller of 3 bedrooms in the house), he consistently kept looking at a chair in the corner, transfixed, smiling and gurgling.....it was a little bit unnerving if I'm honest.

Might be he has subconsciously made a correlation between say a change in the engine note of an approaching vehicle and people turning up, etc. however while it doesn't happen every time I've often had an instinct for when someone turns up at the house - so many times I've suddenly had the urge to look out the window or door just as someone turns in the drive even when they are totally unexpected.

REALLY weird thing happened at the weekend witnessed by at least 2 adult family members.

My 3 year old daughter started repeatedly shouting the name (firstname and surname) of her deceased great grandfather whom died years before she was born and has never heard his name.

Strange huh, anyone else's kids do strange things related to long gone ancestors?

You are a few days too late to hire a professional, Gabriel Amorth snuffed it on the 16th of this month. One more exorcism wouldn't have been much to ask after 160,000 odd... Have you parted her hair and looked for the number of the beast?

Everything looks the same, the garden, the house, the neighbours.... except i dont think its exsactly the same if you get what i mean. I think its our freaky son, he must have thrown me into another dimension. You need to get help!

Child Rroff: Mummy, is that you?
