Sounds like you're not hanging off or sticking your leg out? If you're scraping your peg then you should be more than close enough to scrape your knee if you want.

Unless it has those freaky long hero blobs?

My brother's Bonneville pegs will scrape before knee down but that's just the style of the bike. Maybe yours is the same, dunno
Well... it pretty tricky to put your knee down on the SV, a lot of my mates and people who own them said that to me when I asked them whenever they've done it.

I'll go and give it another go, I'll record my foot positioning. :)

He's just having a bit of fun :p
:D

Edit:
I'll wait till next season and re-try...

I was riding home tonight, nearly home when I felt something bounce off my left foot. I hadn't hit anything, no cat or or any wildlife had run into me either....

Stopped a little bit up the road, and found that a bolt that holds on my 2 horns was somewhere in the Kent countryside, and the horns had been hanging on for dear life by the 2 wires! One had not managed to hold on and that's what bounced off my foot! (and then the road...):p Took the remaining one off, and put it in my pocket, I'll re-attach it at the weekend!

Obviously the bolt had gradually vibrated looser and loose until it fell out! :o

Not lost any screws from yours yet Kreeeee? :p

Lost my under-seat securing screw (the black plastic flap that covers the indicator/brake/light wires) and a screw from the black plastic bit that joins the two belly pan sides together

From my Triple? Nope, even throwing it down the road budged any bolts :p

On my SV650 I was forever losing the cheesy Suzuki fairing bolts until I used some loctite.

:( poor thing. Looks like your crash bungs and engine protection did their job though. Makes me want to get some engine slider cover things, but then I feel like I'm just covering up the nice looks that I paid for in the first place!

Well the engine covers match the engine so they keep the looks of the bike, and the axle sliders are not obvious either.

You can get frame sliders instead of crash bungs but I doubt they work as well.

Is that the SW motech quicklock EVO sport tank bag? the 14-21l model? That's the one I'll be getting for my Tuono next year.

I have the crash bungs on mine which sit nicely between the fairings, plus some crash bungs on my forks. I've just seen some nasty engine cover ones which kind of put me off. Worth it if they match though.

Yeah same with the Tuono, I'll get front and rear crash bungs but the only engine covers are these things...

TBH I don't think they're actually needed on the Tuono, clutch/engine covers don't stick out at all unlike on a triple or IL4 engine, the rear crash bungs will keep them away from the tarmac.

Nice one, thanks - a quick lock tank bag is the only option for the Tuono really, plastic tank! They're not cheap, £160 but I'd rather have something decent.

I'll have 3 tank bags once I get that one, a cheap magnetic one, a (free) oxford one I took to europe and the SW motech.

Agreed they are much easier for filling up etc.
