What do you define as good though? I know may sound silly but i know people who moan if they get a gold rated 84 player.

To them good is only getting Messi or a player worth over 300k coins.
 
I have pre-ordered and installed Fifa 17 , i have been playing FUT since 2011 i think.
My son has been playing since a couple of years and has his own XboxOne.

He logged into his xbox and has his old club etc from previous Fifas and access to the web app, he got some free packs since he is returning user.

I log into mine and i have no webapp access and it isnt picking up my club either , acting like i'm a new user. I have had every single fifa since the late 90s , a bit annoyed tbh.

I was gonna grab a few points and try to get myself going early but i want my old club and the packs i should get for being a long-term player.
 
Not played the full game yet, damn you PS4 for not having early access, I'll admit I'm not a fan of the demo though. Skill moves seem incredibly slow to trigger, and the "offside lock" passing bug is still present which is a disgrace.

I'll still pick up the full game, but I'm not thrilled at what I've seen so far.

Obviously FIFA is ahead overall but clearly PES is better in the gameplay department, even the digitalspy review says so.

Although personally I prefer user reviews, and will still be going with FIFA.. but I am tempted to try PES :)

If you're approaching the opponents attacking third, you have a couple of runners ahead of you, one is offside, one is onside. If you play a through-ball, it will 99.999999999999999999999999999% of the time go to the offside player. Its most frustrating when you're bursting right through the middle with runners diagonally above and below you, even if you aim at the diagonally up guy it will quite often pass to the diagonally down guy!

Its a pretty well known thing.
 
Played 2 seasons games, got battered first half of the first game as I only played the demo once, got to grips with it second half and won the game. Won the second too. Struggling with shooting.

Also, I got a penalty, wtf! It went about 30 yards wide...should really read up about things!
 
Where is everyone pre-ordering from?

Wondering if i should buy the normal or deluxe version? Bought the latter on 2016 but didnt play ultimate at all as i thought it was far too expensive for points/packs. Really do want to go back to UT though

When is the best time to sell players then? Presumably when the game has released and more folk playing it or is that just more competition for selling?
