I'm out of motul chain lube, might try chain paste from motul, any experience with it?

MOTUL C5 CHAIN PASTE Lubricant for on & off road motorcycle, quad, go kart chains very sticky Paste in tube with brush tip applicator https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009L2DNMU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_QGL7xbMDN0SEE

Meh, screw that. Don't have time to apply lube with a brush :P I just use Castrol Racing lube: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Castrol-17...475238235&sr=8-1&keywords=castrol+racing+lube - chain has never been better and they're relatively cheap when you buy in bulk.

I like the idea of the paste if I'm honest. Won't get the usual mess of chain lube over the back tyre when spraying it on the chain.

I think you could get it on better than a spray.

Might give it ago, I like motul products. However, I'm enjoying the small can of wd40 chain lube.

It came loose twice, but I stripped the bike and done it up. I cut a piece of pipe to get better grip. Those V-Twin's like to vibrate, I can now see why so many women ride SV's haha. :p

Love it, restriction fell of twice so lets max out the bike :p:D:D

Isn't maxing out any vehicle the point of it?

I know speed was one of the things which made me always want a motorbike. Speed limits be damned.

Can't find any paraffin in the shops, been to wickes, BnM, sainsbury's, tesco, only place i can pick some up from is B&Q but i don't want 4l of the stuff.

Ordered tyre from Oponeo at 10am yesterday, tyre delivered today at 10am.

Can't beat that! Will get the front wheel off tomorrow morning and whip it up my local tyre fitter, it'll be nice to have a round front tyre again!!

I find going fast in a straight boring, prefer twisty road.

I've been working on my body position, what do you ppl think? :)

**** me it's cold today, hands are froze.
It is, winter is definitely coming... I could barely see anything in this fog...

I need to get waterproof textile trousers, I'll probably get a size bigger so I can wear something under it, I don't fancy sitting and walking around in textiles. Oh and winter gloves...

Any recommendations?

Edit:

I wonder if this will zip up with my Dainese D-Dry jacket... hmm

I've done this before gone round everywhere, had people in builder shops on the phone to the suppliers and you just can't get less than four litres, but hey it'll last you ages :D

:p I've now got my chain cleaner, got some castrol racing lube, and also bought some new alpinestar gloves, they are awesome! :) oil and filter change tomorrow plus doing the chain and I'll give it a clean.
